The Whistler and His Dog--Arthur Pryor's Band, 1925

Possibly Arthur Willard Pryor's most famous composition, recorded in 1925--the first year for commercial microphone recordings, with the whistling courtesy of Margaret McKee and our friend Billy Murray. Dig the lifelike audio quality, typical of many of the earliest electrical sides. From an original pressing. And something tells me that RUclips is about to inform me that this recording and/or composition (a "Pops" novelty which goes back to the early 1900s or before) is copyrighted. Unreal.
