🎤🎶This video was recorded in Singapore for the Virtuosos charity concert. Dimash and Hauser played live and the video was shown behind them during the song. They recorded this video a day or two before the concert for performance. Last year Dimash was a guest judge for the Virtuosos competition for young and very young talents performing classical music. That's why he performed at this concert as well. There is a chance that he will be a judge again. This is a very important competition because there are none for classical music and the judges continue to support these children and young people after the competition, invite them as guests to their performances, organize various events where young people can show their skills.
The collaboration between these two artists is truly genius.. Stjepan and Dimash.. stunning! Dimash sings like a god and Stjepan plays like he rules the world.. and they very well may. This performance is a time stamp that stops time and takes me back to when I first heard Dimash sing "SOS" in 2017... do you remember? I will never forget it.. it is etched in my mind forever. And may they live forever.. these two.. may the Gods bless them. Dimash sings from another place in time.. and for those of us who know him well.. every performance is yet another display of his prowess and mastery of notes for us to taste with our hearing pallet and digest with delicious delight. His notes are precious and eternal, with power and meaning that moves mountains and parts seas.. and yet with intimation that heals and caresses our hearts with kindness and love. Take him in and love him as I do.. for there will not be another like him in our lifetime. Sabina, you are correct... It "sounds like" the Slavic Bazaar version because it most certainly IS that exact track 😉! (Good ear!) It seems everyone was clamoring for an entire duet performance and this was the fastest and best way to get that done. In the studio, it's easy to replace parts of a track or to add extra tracks as Hauser is doing with his cello playing. These overdubs on the original 2019 track do not bother me one bit; it's a gorgeous addition to a beautiful rendition!! I also love this and was waiting and waiting for these two maestros to do some collaborating; I'm hoping for more, of course! 🤩 Please take care of yourself and your loved ones and I wish you balance and abundant happiness in the coming year.🤗
@OzonePete-j3f finally... there was another reactor and someone with as great ears as @sabina1118 realized this is the Slavic Bazar track (my favourite version of singing, btw.). And we got the reaction that it is rude to assume they used that vocal track 😂 I still think it was a great idea.

Instrumentally, I think I SLIGHTLY prefer the live playing from the Dimash Digital Show, just because it has an "immediacy" and presence to it. This collaboration is a wonderful idea with a breathtaking outcome!! (And, no, we're not rude... we are simply attentive to subtleties and minutia! 🧐😂)
@@OzonePete-j3f we have a similar taste :) Yes, music was a bit cleaner at DDS but I didn't like the music/singing mixture, music dominated a bit too much. So Slavic Bazar stays the absolute favourite :) Anyway, I don't think either it was rude.... that comment was funny though :)
