The wheat trade was entirely setup prior to the event - meaning the event only helped the situation along, but not the cause of it. Two historical setups triggered on wheat for bull runs: Sept 2006 and Aug 27, 2020. The same setup occurs almost daily in any instrument, even buttcoin futures like today.
I love his advice on how to change the RSI settings. I’m definitely going to change them and see the difference

I am so lost - felt like a trig class - too much for me to keep up with
Old timer. As far as I can tell still trading long term trend following using an overbought/oversold rsi. Why not just trade a channel breakout. Guess it looks pretty to see it catch top and bottom and tell people look , look. Need deep pockets to trade many markets to try to keep draw downs from not blowing up. You could basically do the same thing with a random entry with a small trailing stop and have the same results.

Partially true. *SOME* people only make money from selling tools. But there are others who do both.

This is good example how blind can lead blinder. He picks one top, then he gets wiped out 5 times in a raw while trying to budge obvious trend, and he doesn't even stops his sales pitch. And that repeats again and again from one chart to the other. Did they have equity curves back in 20th century? Has he heard of backtest variations with Monte Carlo? If he hasn't, I'm sure Etienne has. Its shameful that Etienne is letting this kind of blatant sales junk pass on his channel. There should be some minimum back testing standard maintained as a norm. Or maybe Etienne gets paid?
I appreciate the feedback. I’m not getting paid for any of these interviews. I just talk with traders who have an interesting background. I try my best to keep the marketing low and always want to have them provide value first. Some guests don’t see it this way. There’s only so much we can do in editing.
