I'm working on signing my first client and I started doing outreach these last weeks. The one thing I wish I knew is how important it is to get started and that it's not that scary to do outreach and get started!

I thought that I needed to have all the fancy bells and whistles but simplicity makes everything make more sense to me. I got my call tomorrow. Really excited! I mean, I'm pretty new so this answer will be different in a year. But I wish I knew how to simplify the whole business model. I started with graphic design, marketing, content creation, and packaged it all up. Now? I sell one service which is marketing and that's it. If my customers want my other offers after we've signed, then that's fine but I never sell that before I've got them signed up. Your clothing line is fucking amazing and I can't wait to get myself a hoodie if it's this season or the next one I don't know yet, but I'm definitely getting myself one! Keep fighting the good fight man! Can't wait to see where you'll be in a couple of years!

First thing I knew when I started: you can’t do it ALL yourself! I’ve learned in the past 3-months that giving tasks to people who are 50X better than you is crucial allowing you to go high level.

@Josh Turrentine You can find contractors on upwork, or a lot of people use the Facebook Media Buyers Job Board (it's a facebook group which I would 100% recommend for outsourcing)

My first lesson I learned was understanding what you're trying to do and why you're truly doing it. Many people say they want to have an agency but what they're after is the money which is short sightedness. They don't know if they truly want to be a salesman which is essential for being an agency owner at the end of the day OR the thing that all these guru's say you'll learn but never actually do in depth which is marketing. Two totally different things. For people who have never done sales or are not salesmen by true self intention, they should actually go work at a digital marketing agency for free to learn how it's all done and gain the confidence through competence and with that portfolio built out over the next 3-5 years, they can venture off on their own.
Don't listen to guru's if you're truly trying to learn marketing because all they are shoving down your throat is being a salesman which isn't what you wanted but what they enjoy.
If u never give up then u can do that too and yes enjoying the process is important

How do you find ecom clients
How am I supposed to tell my leads I will get them customers if there’s a lockdown and people won’t be able to leave their homes?
Depending on your niche you could generate them a ton of leads which they can then contact when the quarantine is over.
You tell them they can can have top of mind awareness. After seeing couple ad videos on Facebook, built up that value and trust, once this is over, then the potential customer is more likely to work with x person. Build business for the long term by building relationships.
E-commerce is literally exploding right now. You could choose ecom clients instead of dentists

Work on your personal brand and tell as many people as possible what you do. The world is a small place and it’s likely you’ll find a friend of a friend who needs exactly what you’re offering soon enough. From then on it’s all about outreach and building a reputation. Hope this helped 😊🐋
