Wuppertal Schwebebahn, in Germany is a suspended railway which runs 12 metres above the streets and follows the river, for a distance of 13 km and includes twenty stations. This railway is a fantastic engineering marvel which began in 1901; enduring the test of time and is both popular with the locals as well as enthusiasts from all over the world.
