Tips:
- temparature 100 degrees when separating the glass
- magic sponge + oca remover to clean the screen
- lamination time 60s
- laminating temperature 60 degrees of C, press 4bar on polyuretan
- autoclave 15 minutes in 50 degrees

The repair shop doesnt do this, just so you know. Too much risk of damage to the LCD. The glass is glued to the LCD. About 99 of 100 use a small heat source to remove the back and disassemble it and replace the glass and LCD digitizer as a unit. THAT is actually do-able by a tech savy person. I have replaced internal components like charging jacks and batteries that way myself. There are multiple videos that show you how on RUclips. Again tho. Even that, I wouldn't recommend to someone who maybe has never worked with electronic components before

You make easy. I did my s8 and it was f#@king hard and I didn't have best tools but I got Glass off but I nicked the display and I had a little tiny black mark in corner it was really small. That was my first one I ever did. I save some cash and it worked good. I geuss the more times you do it better you get. I won't to get some better tools because repair a lot of my friends cells too. Zaczalem niedawno prowadzić swój mały domowy serwis. Myśle nad tbk 208m 3w1 maszynka do laminacji. Ciężka sprawa na początek będąc samoukiem by wymieniać same szybki? 😀 na razie do tej pory wymieniam całe wyświetlacze ale dobrze byłoby się rozwinąć o wymianę samej szybki 😀 zwłaszcza w samsungach jednak i IP

That screen was so dirty u had finger prints under it. U spent all this time scrubbing the right side when the left side was disgusting. There's no way that was the same screen. Like.
At 8:11 you can see all the crap on the left side of the screen and u Scrub the right side but don't touch the left then u put the screen together with visible glove/finger prints and somehow it looks brand new after I don't get it

maaan you are separating glass on a working phone. this means it definitely has a battery inside while on a 110 C degrees separator. well. it HAD a battery cause R.I.P battery now. such a good video in terms of display repair skill and such carelessness..
250⁰C will break the battery, but not 110 😉 I made hundrets of phones and never get problems.

Why was the AMOLED removed? Can the new glass be installed without removing it?
Perhaps the UV curing, laminating, and vacuuming processes for the lcd can damage the motherboard.

I thought it would be mentioned in video. ??? I have a lot of MB experience. No knowledge of that sensitivity. No experience where the MB was more sensitive than LCD. It's usually the weak link.
@Joe Banks Avoid all that headache. Do like the average repair shop does like the Asurion insurance repair tech does when they repair your phone in your vehicle in your dooryard. They replace the glass, lcd/digitizer and the frame that holds them as a unit. Back is removed from the phone with heat gun, battery removed and internal parts, including that frame, new frame assembly put in along with all parts and back is glued back on with new adhesive strips. This method is just to show the high tech method of doing just the glass. The HEAVY majority of shops do not have this equipment nor do they want it. Mall kiosks and little repair shops there most certainly never do this. I tried to find a shop in the southeast PA area once to do this and the only one that expressed the ability was a small shop that said their quite young repair guy said he could do it. I did not trust him with the job. I kind of knew the equipment that would be needed and the process as I was told that some places that have it use a freezing process to make the UV glue brittle and there was next to no change he had it.
@Vance Ogden isn't the digitizer really expensive to replace as opposed to replacing the glass, which is only a few quid?

Can't you just take the broken glass off the front without taking the back of the phone off and disassembling the whole thing?
yea you could just replace the glass, but to make sure the front camera still works without any blurr, you should take it out before glueing the new glass

Hello everyone , please if someone can help me , i just dissasembled my phone because my earpiece was blocked and cleaned with some alchool from the inside , i managed to get it fully working and asembled my phone all together , for one day i was working perfectly until next day screen flickered and went totally black . Phone is still working because i can hear messages notifications but screen not working at all (just black screen) . Can anyone give me an idea what went wrong and how to fix it?
Hello! Maybe some liquid left inside the phone? Disassemble it again, heat for 90-100⁰C for 30min and check again. Disconnect the battery when heating
