OH my god! LOL! I remember that opening along with the others! I'm a big fan of young and the restless! I've been watching it for over 10 years and i'm only 19 now!
I also miss those days with Cricket and Paul together, and Ashley with Brad, Britney with Raul, Mac with Billy, and Colleen with J.T. All the years with Cassie, and Sharon and Nick together, and Nikki married to Victor, and all those couples I previously mentioned; those were truly the glory days of Y&R. And the original theme was their most beautiful.
I like this intro alot too. I think this is better than the intro they're using now. I like it better when the characters look at you and smile. It's like that with B&B and ATWT(my 2 other favorites). I'd say this intro is probably from 1996 because that little girl is Cassie(Camryn Grimes), she looks to be 6 yrs old which is how old she was when she started and she's 16 now. This must be shortly after Sharon finally got Cassie back after 5 years. Too bad Cassie's gone forever now.

This show hit ROCK BOTTOM when they killed off Cassie 8 years ago, that was when the show became so horrible. It was horrible enough that they killed off Cassie, she was just the sweetest and most beautiful thing in this show, but then they started killing off other characters who were great like Dru, Brad, and Colleen. They broke up lovely marraiges too like Nikki and Victor's and especially Nick and Sharon's and started bringing in awful characters like Adam. YUCK
I miss heather tom as victoria but amelia heinle as the new victoria is doing a better job..i disagree with mulderbabe77! And I agree with vesselboy...what happened to jacks asain son khemo lol! seems like the show forgot about him!

Well the creator, William Bell did pass away last year and I'm sure no one could write them like him.

That's the old version, and the little girl is nick and sharon's daughter, she died on the show a few years ago.
