I remember back with the first ps1 modchip I had everything on cd-r. I went from a kid who only had a sega genesis and a few games to almost the complete ps1 library. It was life changing. Great video!
@@RedKingBadger that’s amazing, so you would just play it like a normal disc but with the whole library on it? That’s crazy lol. I always urge people to go that route, rather than forking over the kind of cash some of these games cost, its wild. And appreciate it, welcome to the channel!
@GeorgeGutter lol I wish! I had a collection of burned cd-rs in a big cd binder along with a modchipped ps1. It was a gift from a friend and what a game changer...
@@OriginalMasters dude Suikoden topped it for me, such a classic. I had to pull myself away from it to keep playing the other games on the list lol. And lmaoooo thanks I’ve been told it’s a mixture of smooth jazz and late night radio voice 😂appreciate it, welcome!
It’s not for quality on this one it’s just how rare it is there is another game called iss pro evolution soccer that likes $350 complete I mean just for a crappy soccer game so the ps1 definitely has some of those kinds of games that just didn’t get a lot of copies on some ports. Starblade alpha is a port of a sega 32x game which is probably why it’s kinda ass
@@Chaosticks148 that explains why it’s so expensive, and nice how much further do you have till you get the full collection? And that makes sense if it was a Sega 32x port, it was definitely ass🤣
@@GeorgeGutter there’s 1278 releases excluding variants I’m on 183 so I good ways to go. Ill be thirty next year so I’m shooting for it to be done by around 40. I really loved this video by the way great presentation

I own Starblade alpha I’m going for a complete u.s title release collection
They made less than 1500 for western releases split between Europe and here and the short box variant is not in North America so it’s long box only

But I get it’s more of a collectors item than an actual good gaming experience lol

Yes that they are, this was more for the collectors
