After watching your videos, I often just want to sell my rig and move on, but I put in practice what I have learned and am almost at my 2 year point, you have saved me from multiple disasters. I told a friend that I wanted to shoot myself for the first 6 months of my foaming life and was ready to walk away trash my rig(brand new). You are exactly right, you pay $2000.00 for a training course, that is the most inadequate thing you could ever experience, surrounded by a bunch of hype(because they are more interested in selling another rig). You are given a promise of help in the field, and when you call for that help, a sales guy comes with pizza and tries to help you figure out what is happening. (At least you can convince your that you got a free lunch, but you actually paid $150,000.00 for it) This industry in not for the faint of heart or for those who are looking to make big dollars quick, it is tremendously more complicated and detail oriented than those who sell equipment will ever admit too.
I agree with what you have said here. I used to be one of those selling equipment. For the first 5 years in foam and coatings I was wholesale distribution and training. Then started Jones. Glad I could be of some help to you.

Have you ever considered partnering with contractors in the states like build a small franchise. I kinda wanna go to school now for this. But have some kind of system like yours to maintain quality under drastically changing weather conditions (like Texas for example). 73 Monday. 40 on Tuesday. During spring.
A contractor is telling me it’s too cold for him to spray and he’ll have to wait until it’s at least 45 degrees F outside. Even then he’ll have to use one of those propane powered torpedo heaters to warm the metal. This is for a metal pole barn without any house wrap just bare metal. Is this guy a hack?
Can you explain the caulking part? What would you be caulking? Like the joints between exterior cladding? Or exterior service holes? Please explain. About the frost lines horizontal and vertical.
You said something about 2 pound closed-cell being a no-no on a roof. Could you elaborate please? You talking outside, or inside a building? I ask because I need to insulate the bottom side of my machine shed rood. It’s painted metal and I want to insulate, and stop the sweating leading to condensation dripping to the floor. I would suggest Rule # 11 - if spraying in traditional wood frame cavities and you are only spraying about 2 inches - spray the rest of the 2 x whatever out to the inside edge of the wall cavity - otherwise the framing thermal conduit will be made much worse.
Is it possible to spray foam insulate from the outside? I’m thinking of having the siding on the exterior of my house replaced and I’m curious if spray foam is an option.
winter/summer foam? Are you saying there is different foam(or froth packs) for diff seasons or temps in which u will be spraying? (summer - winter) thnks for all the info?
Great video! One question, what R value do you spray for on these new homes? I see a lot of videos saying walls should be crazy high like R-30 and R-50 for roofs. If doing pure CC, it seems the cost would out of this world to get these values. Im in TX, building a metal "barndominium" / shop that I want to insulate evenly but I'm worried if I only do 3"-4" of closed cell if that would be enough in your opinion. Engineering docs for building say max 4" sprayed to roof for warranty.
We spray 3 inch a lot of closed cell. We also do 4 inch. Watch my video on "how much foam do I need". Finally you have to balance between the code in your area and what is practical. Side note: 4 inches of closed cell is more than enough for Texas.

Excellent description of lack of knowledge and lack of experience it’s in all trades even doctors and lawyers roofers general contractors HVAC technicians especially the automotive technicians . Lack of training extreme ignorance being cheap on training and tools lazy about learning lazy about educating employees is a rapid disease infecting the whole country in every industry. Owners of businesses should not be allowed to be owners and less they could perform all the procedures and know exactly what to do in the material, procedures or service in which they are about to make a living at if they cannot they should be eliminated
