You've got one of the best bikes on the market dollar for dollar I Usually keep my display tight enough to press the buttons but lose enough so if a have a fall or bump into anything it moves freely 💵 👌
I couldn't agree with you more. I've tried quite a few different e-bikes and I'm always glad to have mine when I get back on it. The 6 months+ of research I did before making my purchase really paid off. 👍👍
Blinkers, headlight, nice bright brake light, hydraulic brakes. The list continues. Plus very little issues as far as defects go. I definitely felt lucky on this one.
I purchased the Hyperscrambler 2 last month, after much deliberation and research (your videos contributed a lot to the "plus" column..) and have been enjoying it immensely. My only complaint so far is the seat is not all that comfortable, but I have a custom one on order that will hopefully improve that aspect of the bike. Otherwise I find myself riding it whenever my schedule allows, and you're definitely right about the two-battery/large battery choice...there is no range anxiety! Only thing I've found is as battery depletes the bike has a little less peppy acceleration. I've also found what an attention getter this bike is; almost everyone on foot I pass will wave or give me a thumb's up. Keep up the great work with your videos! And be safe out there.
Congrats on getting one of these bikes! It's a life changer in all the good ways. I completely agree about the seat. It leaves much to be desired. I'm considering a custom seat as well, it'll probably be a winter project. Where are you getting a seat from if you don't mind me asking? You can't beat having a second battery! As you know, not having range anxiety is a wonderful thing. Actually, I don't even know what range anxiety feels like lol. I also agree about the bike losing a bit of pep when the battery gets low. It seems to happen around 50/49volts. The upside is we still have roughly 50% life left at that point. We can still wrack up some solid miles. The bike does get tons of attention. I'm always excited to talk about it so I never mind at all. Thanks for the channel support and sharing your experience in the comments. Have fun and safe travels!
@@keepingitkresky4412 great reply! I ordered a custom seat from Saul's upholstery in New Jersey. Just got it put on earlier this week and just now saw this post from you. The difference in comfort over the stock seat is night and day. I now find myself wanting to venture further from home than before. I could only stay on the bike maybe half an hour tops before my backside demanded I go home! :) As for how I configured the seat from Saul, I kept the stock shape but increased the height by an inch, since I am 6' 4" tall. I also spec'd a layer of gel on top of the foam Saul uses for their seats. I got the horizontal stitching with red thread but no red piping. I think it improved the look of the bike, as well as improved pedaling comfort, since I now sit taller. Overall a great move: I encourage a seat mod for this bike from however you choose to get it done. :)
Thanks a lot for the information! I was thinking of getting my seat from the same place. Saul's is only about two hours from where I live which is kind of cool. You gave me a good idea about what seat upgrades I may want to get. For one, a gel insert sounds like a dream for those high millage cruises. If/when I get a seat I will be sure to make a video about it. Have a great new year and take care! New videos on the way!
@@keepingitkresky4412 My seat from Saul seems more comfy now than when I first installed it; I think it tends to break in a bit as one uses it. It does tend to spread the legs apart more than the stock seat did, which can be a little discomforting, especially if I coast or throttle a lot with not much pedaling (easy to do in "race" mode) but none of that discomfort compares to what the stock seat imposed on my backside. I've been able to ride some lately due to unusually warm weather, and the outings were wonderful, making me look forward to when even warmer weather is back for spring/summer and I can go on longer trips. I hope you do go for the upgrade and make a video about it; I think it would be helpful for your viewers who either already own a HS2 or are thinking about getting one. Your videos have already helped me in what to expect from my bike as the miles rack up.
Good to know about the break-in period and the seat being a bit wider. I'm going to look into a seat this month. Before you know it it'll be spring again. My butt can definitely use the extra comfort this year lol. 5000 miles and counting. This seat and it's not getting any softer. Glad to hear my videos have helped out a bit. New video coming out today actually. It's kind of a laid back tire review. Hope you like it. Until next time, safe cruising!
Hey Rory, I've been sorting some things out with work and I haven't had a lot of time to record and edit. Heading out to record today and I have something kind of cool coming up to record in the next couple weeks too. I'll have a video out soon, man. Thanks for being a steady viewer. As for my brakes, of course they are still loud lol

Out of the few complaints people have about the scorpion and scramblers, one of the big ones is the tire quality. Anything you can say from experience? I've been considering changing mine but haven't yet because I only ride on pavement. I did already have a flat though, had to get liners installed asap. The plants here in Arizona are brutal lol everything wants to kill your tires
I've never used the tires on the off-road scrambler. As for the Innova 5mm tires, I really like them myself. They are thick, they last a long time, have a high tire pressure, super smooth ride, and you can walk the bike with a flat and you won't damage the rim. The veemission tires are so thin you can't roll them with a flat. Yes the Innovas are street tires but they are really good street tires. If they work for you I'd say keep them until you need new ones. Then maybe consider a different brand.
Love your vids, man. I have a Hyperscrambler 2 and it's the best. Say, what kind of camera is that you are using if you don't mind? Picture is super crisp and I am in the market. Cheers.
Thanks man, glad you dig the videos. Yeah I agree, this ebike is awesome. As for my camera, I use a GoPro Hero 8 Black. 4k 30fps, Superview.. The last couple videos I started using "superview" and before that I used "wide" view . I like the wideness of the superview. The GoPro clips on my right bookbag shoulder strap with a GoPro mounting clip. When you see those shots of me riding by I use my cellphone on a tripod. I have a Pixel 5 phone. My equipment is a bit older but it works for what I do. Eventually I will upgrade. Safe riding!!
Would you be able to tell my your height? Was looking to purchase this bike and wanted to see if my feet would be able to touch the floor comfortably when sitting on the bike.
Sure thing, I'm just about 6'2". I normally wear a 32 inseam in pants. I'd say if you're 5'9" you might have a bit of trouble with the height and touching the ground.. I've also heard of people getting new rear shocks that brought the height of the bike down a little. Something to consider maybe.
Outstanding onboard video!
I appreciate that! It's fun to experiment with different camera angles.
Thanks for the ride man, the picture quality is far better plus great camera views. Stay safe and have FUN.😃👍
Thanks, DMC! Trying to switch up the cameras a bit to keep it interesting. Glad you enjoyed the cruise!
