You think you could aim at the sun and fire? No. You couldn't because it would be way too bright. You would have to shoot in the general area. It's the same thing with a bright light in the dark. Try it once. Place a flashlight in a dark room and try to look at it. Then imagine if you had a gun and were trying to aim at it. You wouldn't be able to aim at the light. A build up of tension is what makes a jumpscare actually scary. If it happens and is expected, it's not scary, like in a jumpscare compilation where they all play in rapid succession - Because there's no build up and you expect it. But if it builds and builds and builds, without stopping and giving the release of tension of a jumpscare coming and going, then you will get more afraid. Also, the lack of clarity that comes with a jumpscare leads a lack of knowledge about what is actually there, which allows your brain to fill in details and paint a picture of something that you personally may find scary. If a human brain has to come up with a scary concept, it will probably be personal and linked to trauma, phobias, and other specific ideas or concepts. In short, not having a jumpscare doesn't let the tension ease, and it lets the viewer come up with their own ideas.

That’s the point, to scare you. Negative emotions have a lot of energy to them- that’s how the human brain works, i.e. if you make a video and have 100 good comments, you’ll focus on the one negative one. So entities that feed off of your energy elicit fear. When those footsteps came sprinting at him, I don’t blame his actions, but nothing would’ve happened, it’s a scare tactic and he fell for it, therefore making it more powerful because he gave it more to “eat”. I do not know if this particular video is real or not but the rules still apply.

I worked at a Max Prison Unit in Texas for a few years. One day during lockdown, I had to complete a series of cell searches on 3 different rows. Finished the 1st row and made my way to the 2nd row, walked up to the cell, and informed the inmates that I needed to do a cell search. The guys got up for bed, and as I'm waiting for them to get dressed, I felt a nudge on my back. Immediately, I turned around thinking it was an inmate, but because of the lockdown, I knew there shouldn't have been anyone out. Freaked out, I called the officer in Cental Control, who was also my friend, to review the cameras, and she saw the quick turn I made to see what was behind me. That was the first time of 3 encounters I had to whatever you want to call it. Other inmates would tell me of stories they encounter, including the prison chaplain who saw a man speak in demonic tongue and then instantly a steel door that can only be open from the outside of the building was pushed open. When almost 200 inmates want a single inmate removed, you know they were scared.

Maybe you didn't watch enough of paranormal things. Often electronic things like camera, mic, lights, or any other devices start lagging due to the extreme energy in the environment. There's a type of device called "EMF" used by paranormal activity experts who use this to detect spirits. Often while investigating, this device and few other electronic devices get affected due to the energy of the spirit since spirits ARE energy and they can do things using their own energy. And that's the answer of your childish opinion of these being fake.

Not discrediting it, but I want to mention that it's normal to see officers extremely on edge, breathing heavily and fidgety in these situations. They are definitely very stressed and the possibility of rounding a corner and a guy is just sitting there with a gun is something that would have anyone on their toes.
@@championgundeer The way the officer didn't look to the right first where someone could have been moving the door was a little sus. He went in the room and looked everywhere else but to the right, then after it was clear looked to the right behind the door. First spot I would have looked.
@5:10 the reason that police do NOT turn on lights in real life - dates back to prohibition times when Smugglers homes were using rigged light-bulbs that had gasoline injected into them = raining down hellfire on anyone in the room near the light-switch.
I'm a finish carpenter. I install a lot of interior doors. I will say that an unlatched door opening on its own doesn't automatically mean you have a ghost. If they're installed off at all they'll do that sometimes. As houses settle they'll start to do that to. The hinges will get what we call "binded up." It's basically when the hinges get out of alignment and it creates a spring like force that will cause the door to open on their own. Another phenomenon comes with air pressure and temperature. The little girls room at the end had a ceiling fan going. The air in her room was probably cooler than the closet and that warmer air has a higher pressure than the cool air in the room so it pushed the door open. I'm not saying something paranormal isn't happening just that if you have self opening doors don't panic. There are mechanical explanations for it.
@@ljones2087 Outside of commercial applications that you see every day I've never saw anything like that. There's self and soft closing options for cabinets. Not much in the way of self opening though, that would probably be the most annoying thing ever. A piece of fishing string taped to the bottom of the door would probably do the trick if you're looking to make videos and trick people lol Another thing that will cause a door to open or close on its own is an out of plumb wall. That causes the door to lean in one direction or the other causing it to open or close on its own depending on the lean.
Im so glad I found this channel. Good narration, no annoying music, straight to the point. Fake or not, the videos aren't heavily edited to make it look completely fake like anything else you'd find on youtube. The Indian family one was pretty unsettling.
I particularly like that the narration tells the stories in a matter-of-fact way that doesn't draw conclusions of its own, and the lack of jumpscares and deceptive editing makes things more authentic and appropriately creepy. So, I really enjoyed this video, and I don't even personally believe in the supernatural whatsoever.
I found there’s likely to be genuine. The voice speaking just like the father, and the tapping towards the end are horrifying. It taps in threes and is definitely trying to make them feel scared. It follows a few patterns of hauntings that I think just can’t be explained like the chair moving on its own and the boy seeing the figure. No really knows why kids or animals can sense them better but who knows
There's a wire you can see around the front leg of the sofa at 14:18. Catches the light. Someone pulling a wire around the leg off camera, through the bedroom door.

And a cop that looks right at a door swinging open, enters the room, and looks straight ahead for a few seconds instead of.. i dunno.. immediately behind the door. If you believed that shit, you'll fall for anything.
What triggers my skepticism is that idea that we survive death, lifting off the body as this conscious spirit, able to interact with the physical world... and all we do is slowly open doors and turn on faucets?
The theory is they have limited reach and try to elicit fear. Sometimes there not just wandering souls, but demons. And they can get more powerful the more you play into there games

I couldn't say what it was I think people love to assume ghosts or demons but honestly we just don't know.
@Danileptic there are various details that we can use too to prove that these are fake. The first one is staged. It is not true that police officers would not find a light switch In a situation like that, and they would absolutely never split up and search the house like that. It is completely unrealistic. The third one is fake. From what i can gather, the guy has to be using some kind of other camera considering on most phones you cannot record while you have your flashlight on. Second, the maggots were never shown, so there is no video evidence for that occurrence. As I continue to piece together the remaining videos, I will update this comment with my reasoning. Its possible to see the light illuminate a piece of string attached to the sofa and the small chair when he walks back with the flashlights. Also the water one realise he never shows inside the bathroom with camera? Because obviouly his wife is there (his wife first opened the tap on the kitchen then ran to the bathroom, doing the same thing there). Its all staged, but they're pretty good actors so it seems believable at first (once you start putting everything together you can tell its fake though even if you dont look at the actual slip ups in the video, notice he never once showed any footage of the so called "curser" maid, while he obviously had to have some since he claimed he literally saw her doing those things IN CAMERA), the others in the video are all blatantly fake though. In all of those videos you can realise one thing in common, the camera NEVER catches the thing in full sight, ALWAYS something obscures, camera looks away, quality gets worse randomly, etc, as if actual ghosts or spirits would have a camera GPS and always perfectly evaded them lmao. Like im not going to say that paranomal shit cannot exist, since i dont know it could or it could not (nobody can awnser this with 100% certain), but if theres any real footage you probably wouldnt see it randomly on youtube though.

The third one was definitely something between the lines of brujeria or witchcraft. Where I am from, people who wish to commit harm to others with keeping themselves out of the dirty job usually send a spirit under a brujo, and they start the process by feeding the family food that they make and basically that’s a portal for the spirit to enter the home. Truly hope this family is safe today.

There’d be no need to be scared. I’m sure if it wanted to kill you and drag you to hell, it’d just do it and wouldn’t waste its time being a minor inconvenience.
The first video is intense, quite amazing how brave the cop is to just go on with the search and just be like "yeah, it's all good" afterwards. I bet he still thinks about it on a daily basis.
There are so many tells in the first video that point to it being a glaring and obvious fake... This is the tl;dr, by the way. 1. The type of artifacting perceived at 2:38 isn't something you would ever see in a digital format. The last time I watched a genuine recording with similar artifacts was back in the 90s, when VHS was the primary entertainment media. One would typically experience such artifacting after recording over the same VHS tape a couple dozen times and, while the body cams that most police officers get are potatoes, they aren't using VHS. 2. The video and audio artifacts at 2:55 and 3:35 aren't ones you would get outside of anywhere but a video editor's booth. But what's most telling about these two instances is that they conveniently occur right after a door swings open and just before the alleged officer enters a room, conveniently enough that, say, an individual standing behind the door would have enough time to move out of the room the officer is about to enter so they aren't in the shot when he is in there. 3. Why are the officers firearms blurred out? Could it possibly be because, I don't know, they aren't genuine firearms? One could argue it's for censorship reasons, but I'd see no reason to censor a firearm unless it might save me from having to give an explanation as to why the "firearms" in my video look an awful lot like Hasbro nerf guns, or why the firearms are actually just bananas dipped on chocolate (a tasty treat if you've never tried it). 4. Having lived in relatively close proximity to a rough neighborhood, I've become quite familiar with using Police Scanners and have a very good idea of what genuine police radio chatter sounds like. The radio chatter heard throughout the first video barely passes for stock audio. 5. "But they have police lights! Pretty blue and red lights!" ...and so can anyone in two days with an Amazon Prime account and a $50 Amazon gift card. I could go on and on, but perhaps all I would be doing is ruining your suspension of disbelief. Sorry if I did that, by the way.

The fact that there never seems to be a jumpscare is WAY more terrifying and unnerving than when there is a jumpscare.
Dude I gotta disagree jumpscares give me a heart attack bro
@@strategenius7600same
Jumpscare doesnt gove me heart it takes me to heaven

@@spiegeltn i mean its staged so yeah
you can see it's staged and a fake police by the way he search the house
First one is fake
Thanks for sharing this information! I've never thought of that before.
thats true ,my bathroom door if i dont close it pretty well it open easy
that makes more sense than what I assumed which is that they had some kind of motorised hinge system😅
@@ljones2087 Outside of commercial applications that you see every day I've never saw anything like that. There's self and soft closing options for cabinets. Not much in the way of self opening though, that would probably be the most annoying thing ever. A piece of fishing string taped to the bottom of the door would probably do the trick if you're looking to make videos and trick people lol
Another thing that will cause a door to open or close on its own is an out of plumb wall. That causes the door to lean in one direction or the other causing it to open or close on its own depending on the lean.
What he’s not telling you is he’s a ghost
Im so glad I found this channel. Good narration, no annoying music, straight to the point. Fake or not, the videos aren't heavily edited to make it look completely fake like anything else you'd find on youtube. The Indian family one was pretty unsettling.
I particularly like that the narration tells the stories in a matter-of-fact way that doesn't draw conclusions of its own, and the lack of jumpscares and deceptive editing makes things more authentic and appropriately creepy.
So, I really enjoyed this video, and I don't even personally believe in the supernatural whatsoever.
Not like chills?? 🤣🤣
I found there’s likely to be genuine. The voice speaking just like the father, and the tapping towards the end are horrifying. It taps in threes and is definitely trying to make them feel scared. @@Danileptic a few years ago I would have agreed but once you experience "this" for yourself then you try not to question others so quickly. No matter what you always sound crazy but to this day I have no rational explanation for the things that happened to me and my family. I tried lol but I cannot explain my closet door being pounded against from the inside or doors handles turning the opening or all my kitchen cabinets being opened up upon walking in.
Edit: I actually didn't realize that with certain accessories (whether it's a tripod or an application) you can actually have your flashlight on with your camera. However, it appears that he doesn't use anything and I still doubt it's fake and I have an easier time believing that they are mentally ill

you can see the string for a split second when the chair moves when the light from the flashlight hits it
Its possible to see the light illuminate a piece of string attached to the sofa and the small chair when he walks back with the flashlights.

Yeah, for me it sounds a little too good to be true. Why didn't he take pics or video of the maggots? I'm not usually the "this is soooo fake xD" guy but c'mon man you gotta make it a little more believable. But, assuming in good faith that it was all true then they need seeeeerious help. @@ohokcool As a Muslim I 100% believe in that maggot video, Ayatul Kursi is believed to be the strongest/most powerful verse in the Holy Book of Quran. It is widely used to exorcise or to repel Jinn (spirit/ghost) in your house, and most times if your house was "infested" by the Jinns or "haunted", it is best to usually recite Surah Al-Fatiha Al-Ikhlas An-Nas, and of course Ayatul Kursi. There once was a time with my friend's newly bought house that he claimed to be "haunted" when he moved in, the moment an imam (like a pastor) come to his house and recite those verses, the wall in his house started to "bleed out" literally. There are lines of blood coming out of his house's wall. This can be either jinns or sihr (black magic).
@@HyouMix , I remember my Mother used to be a night watch person for a small wood mill in the Town I grew up in ( still live in) . There was this sort of "basement" where a huge industrial wood grinder was . Very dry and dusty . On one night She saw what looked like Baby footprints all up along the ductwork and ceiling . Now the ductwork and ceiling were way too high for anyone even with a ladder to access . Another night in that same area the dry, dusty floor had inches of very dry sawdust on it ,but worst of all ,there were countless earthworms crawling amid the sawdust . Earthworms cannot survive in dry sawdust. I made the horrible mistake of consulting a Ouija Board about possible hauntings at the wood mill . It said that the mill was being haunted by two Entities .
