Having now heard it, if I didn’t know the who and when about this song I would’ve guessed that it was an Ennio Morricone composition for an unmade Sergio Leone film that, if it had been made, would have been called “Once Upon a Time in Outer Space.”

I agree with the artist references provided, but I had a different one. It felt like the song could have been on AM’s Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino.
