Hi there, glad to see you are doing great, not bending, doing those perfect squats when you have to. You are so right about taking little things for granted, cause I can't open a bottle of water some days stay strong ❤
Thank you Allison, yes I have to swat now no bending with my back hurting my self. The struggle is real sometimes.
Hi Lanette, I am glad to see that you are up and moving around. My daughter who turned 49 years old today, had her hysterectomy in September of 2023. She check into the hospital @ 7:00am and was home 7:00pm that evening. I stayed with her during her recovery and her doctor told her the same thing after the first week to move around a little more but not to lift anything heavy or do anything that was strenuous. I think within 4 weeks she was back to herself and healing nicely.... she said that was the best thing she ever did is having the hysterectomy - but she was able to keep her ovaries so that she doesn't have to go through hormone replacement therapy. I had my hysterectomy back in 1980 at the age of 25, because of endometriosis, I had to have a complete hysterectomy. With that being said, everyone heals differently, so you have to go at your own pace - follow your doctor's advice and directions and you will be fine.
Hi Rosalyn I really appreciate your stories. I need the insight to have some understanding of what to look forward to. I’m 3 weeks post op. I think my recovery is a bit different because I had an abdominal hysterectomy. It took a lot out of me. I can’t wait to look back and say the same thing. I had so many fibroids they were only able to save my ovaries. I’m thankful for all the love and support while I’m healing ❤️
@@Decoratingismylovelanguage Thank you for reading and responding to my comment(s); I had an abdominal hysterectomy also in 1980, and you are so right -- it does take a lot out of you. I had to have drainage tubes and I was left with this huge scar to always remind me. Thank God you got to keep your ovaries, like I said at 24 I had to have hormone therapy which during that time was PREMARIN which is a female horse's urine...You will look back and say it was worth it in the end, because you will not be in pain anymore from those tumors or long periods each month. You will definitely enjoy your new life once you heal. God Bless you and thank you for sharing this journey because a lot of women will not.

When I saw the bedroom! I started yelling at you, but you couldn't hear me, lol! I was like, "Come help me." I love them navy and gold lamps! Is that your guest room? For some people like u decorating comes so naturally. But for me, it stresses me out! 😫

I’m trying to get some steps in it’s highly recommended and to start doing more but not too much. Yes that’s my guest room. I got those lamps from home goods a couple years ago. The first video I saw of yours I went on Amazon and bought a new gold knife set and a glass potpourri pot. The knife set is beautiful and so is the pot but I was too scared to use the pot. 😳 Anyway, continue to take it easy and I will continue to pray for your healing and restoration.

That glass pot is no great. I promise it’s fine. I was scared my first time as will but it’s meant to use. I’m not going to lie I had it for months before I had the guts tp put it over a flame. Hi Lanette, what type(s) of dogs do you have and how do you keep them off of your new white beautiful furniture. I have an 11 year old Yorkie who is litter box trained and she sits on the back of my couch like a cat.
I have a yorkie and a poodle, I trained him from day one. Coco never tried to get on the couch.
