THANK YOU! Finally a Photoshop tutorial that is a REAL tutorial and not a glorified music video of someone working up a project.

Exactly!! But even as good and informative as this video is, 394 people hit the thumbs down button...It just blows my mind that no matter how good a video nay be, there are always people out there who love to throw shade on it, for no apparent reason....That stuff really irritates me.

I really appreciate that you talk through the tutorial. Too many channels blaze through these tutorials with no explanations.

So I followed this tutorial and created this image. I think it came out great. That being said, I keep coming back to this video for certain techniques that others are not using in their videos and find your method works so much better. So Thank you kindly for posting this video. It has helped me beyond this tutorial.

this is very simple! if i did it without your help, i would have got the sheep cut and pasted to another layer, then i would have had to use clone stamp to make the grass look alright, then use the levels and hue/sat to make cc... you just made it look like stealing babies from candy...

Really good video. Covers many tools and a very clear explaination stages.
Id like to add and say that when you do a cast shadow you might wanna use iris blur to create sharper shadow near the source and make it slowly fade away.
Also add another layer above the shadow layer. Clip it to the shadow layer
Change blend mod to multiply use a darker color from the shadows.
And paint with a soft round brush near the legs to create ambient occlusion.
Expirment a bit with the opacity until it looks good.
This gives the shadow even more realism.
One last thing you couldve added a touch of green to the blacks (mask it with soft brush if needed) to add some bounce light from the green grass.
Very well done thanks for these tutorials!

Cretin... doesn't is correct.. Don't is a command. So, doesn't, as in 'does not' is correct. Don't is bad grammar, in this example. Only thick Americans use don't incorrectly.

Very nice effect. However, you have to be careful when you have a shadow wrap around an edge that isn't lit by your light source. The shadow would actually not show on the phone edge, or on the table where the phone reflection is. But the technique itself is very nice.
