Great video, Steve Spends a Penny. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up icon on your content. Keep up the awesome work! Your approach to managing your inventory while juggling family responsibilities is really impressive. Have you considered any specific strategies for optimizing space in your unit as your stock continues to grow?
Picking orders with a small person running around was my summer nightmare!! I now keep a tube of bubbles in my storage container for distraction purposes! 😅
Handy to know that Steve about dropping an item off close by, plus there’s no evidence of you dropping it off if you had to go through eBay . Cheers for the advice. Nice sales mate 👍🏻😀
If the eBay listing has the collection option the buyer gets a qr code for the seller to scan to confirm pick up. Works quite well. But don't think you can do it if it was bought as a posted item. Did have one that was a collect at Argos, and it turned out to be my local, so I did manage to drop that off in person and get it logged ok 😂
Hi Steve. You've been using that container for a while now and I wondered if you'd noticed any deterioration of the books that have been there a while. I know it's not damp but I was wondering if the fluctuating temperatures had any affect? I'm mainly a bookseller too and I work from home - but I'm getting tired of not being able to move for books and a shipping container seems like the most practical solution. I'd appreciate the opinion of someone who has been there. Cheers. Kerry
@@KButler-c5g hi Kerry. I’ve not personally noticed any difference in the books at all (apart from the fact they seem to be multiplying when I’m not looking 😅). They’re all still in the same condition as far as I can tell. If it gets really cold then I might notice a difference then but I don’t think so. Good luck! 😊
I did a local drop-off with an eBay sale and filmed the delivery, just in case. But generally, I agree, it's best to just post it. Have fun at the eBay event. I was tempted to go to one... and then I saw some footage from it. Looked horrendous. Not for me.
Is that with free postage? It really depends on the books I suppose. 5 of the crime ones will cost £3.20 at least in postage so after fees I probably get about £1 per book at most.

Thanks! Not really, just making it up as I go along. 😊
Great sales and the re-organizing has definitely helped. Sometimes, you need to just do 'one step at time'! Good luck in Birmingham. Liz
@@elizabethgarner3349 thank you Liz 😊
Good luck finding the book.. have fun at the eBay event, cheers
I found it in the end!! Woohoo! 😄😅

😂😂 Good plan! Might have to use that next time. Luckily it was just a one off as nursery had an inset day.
@@SteveSpendsaPenny yeah…but wait until it’s school and 6 weeks of summer holidays! 😅

Yes I knew I shouldn’t have done it last time but thought it would be ok then it turned into a bit of a nightmare so best to avoid. 👍🏻
great video as always
Thank you 😊
See you in Birmingham Steve!
See you there mate!! 😊
Looking forward to seeing you in Birmingham, mate. Let's be awkward together! haha.
😂😂 Sounds like a plan. 😅

Yes that’s right but I don’t offer collection for eBay stuff. But if I did I could probably drop it off and just scan it 😊👍🏻

😂😂 What looked horrendous? It’ll be interesting to see how it differs from the eBay business open I went to. I think this one coming up is bigger.
£9.99 for 5 books! I sell 5 or 6 for about £7/£8. Maybe I should increase my price.😂

@@SteveSpendsaPenny yeah I only do free postage . Ive found that when I try to get higher price people just watch and wait for price to reduce.
