South Texas is the Rio Grande Valley. From Brownsville, TX to Rio Grande City. We didn't grow wheat in South Texas because it's too hot. We grew Grain Sorghum and Corn in South Texas (RGV).
Good Morning Hayden! I went back and watched all of the 2023 Harvest videos. I once commented how hard of a worker your dad is. I still stand by that but now I need to add your Mom, Cody, John, yourself, and the whole crew to the hard working list. Cody is going to make a hand! It’s refreshing to see him looking after the equipment like it belongs to him. Usually hired hands treat equipment like it’s a rental! Tell your dad to save my wife and I a spot when I retire in 2026! I’m not joking! 😀👍🏼
Hayden your Mom likes young enough to be your sister. Your girlfriend is going to be a good combine operator for sure. Cody is a good asset to the team and your Dad is very good at keeping everything going
I'm wondering if having the 4WD doesn't increase the fuel consumption. All in all, those are some pretty amazing stats. Ah, mom is so sneaky with the lights game! LOL. Love your banter. You two have a great relationship and I am always blessed by it. Looking forward to the rest of the season. Oh, BTW, enjoyed Cody's clips. Gave a bit of context to all that's involved. I bet you're happy to have him back again this year.
Some videos ago you showed some plumbing to settle sand out of your water going to your power washer. Could you connect me with that video so I can copy your setup or just a picture. Thanks. Enjoy all your videos. Keep it up!
I agree, that shield on the right side is a real pain! Looks like the same shield that’s on The 70 series combine. You mentioned that the trucks make a four hour trip to the elevator, no local elevators in that area or are they going to a terminal for the customer to get Premium money for his wheat?
We like seeing what you eat for lunch. Her we aim irrigation to yield 170 plus on wheat. Why don't you drink bubbly the soft drink is death in a can, once your used to bubbly you will be hooked.
Your mother said she was telling you to turn your lights on but you were wanting her to lead by example. She didn't raise a dummy you were just being crafty.
Curious as to why you’re cutting that close to the ground. Is it because there going to double crop. We always cut as high as we can to leave more stubble standing to catch snow.
That difference on fuel burn between combines is not great. Something is going on with it. 200 gallons is alot. And at the end of a season that will be a large dollar figure on extra fuel burned.
🏆 Enjoy your trophy for TODAY Hayden 👅 grin. Cody, thank you for the grain cart videos ❤️ Shana, how did your light ploy not work... I even turned on MY lights.. Lol. Thank you for the south Texas stats Hayden. 5 million pounds.... Wowsers ❤️❤️❤️
Finally First!
Thanks for the daily entertainment.
CodyCam is awesome!
Thanks for the updates. Looks like good wheat. Seems you need one more truck.
Your mom is so cool
A win is a win. Dont matter gow you got it. Congratulations hayden.
Seeing the H E B sticker on your salad brings back memories of traveling through Corpus on business in the late 80’s
I love Cody cam
WOW - a lot of wheat

I love that you had a cam by cody

Good for mom to take one for the team but a risky game you play if you run something into the combine

Thanks for the info on hrs. I’ll keep track though the year also the rest the info was very appreciated
Mom took more fuel and cut less acres because she was going after the wet spots with her 4WD and you got the easy going.
Not 200 gal worth of work though…
Wasn't there a day when one machine was down?

Keep up the good work! I'm waiting for the one where someone runs into a pivot in the dark trying to win the light game....😬
@TrDitionalforestpr ….we are competitive, not stupid.
Sounds like a shaky bearing in the grain cart

Do the electrical canon plugs connecting the head to the combine ever wear out? They seem to get a lot of use.

How often do y’all trade equipment?
Would your mother's combine get slightly less fuel economy because it is a 4 wheel drive unit?
Your mother said she was telling you to turn your lights on but you were wanting her to lead by example. She didn't raise a dummy you were just being crafty.
There should actually be some sort of prize for winning the game I think.
so where are you moving to? north texas or is it central texas? or another state entirely?
Curious as to why you’re cutting that close to the ground. Is it because there going to double crop.

John… it dosnt snow in south Texas. Also yes they follow up behind it with the strip tiller and plant peanuts

Try the gojo wipes they work great.
Interesting stats. Your Mom's combine has 4 wheel drive. Is that the only difference?
Yes
Where are we going next, so I’ll know how long I’m going to be gone lol 😂
Do you have fields in North Dakota
🏆 Enjoy your trophy for TODAY Hayden 👅 grin.
