Sir,... a question,... why do you keep calling the ring a hook,...????
it's freaking annouying dude,... you're holding a ring in your hand and saying 'this hook blah blah blah,..'
anyway,,... I love this game, I build my own and have for 25 years or so,..
tips,... you tie the string in at the top,... you make the adjust ments at the bottom,.... the board will shring and warp an kids pull on it,... stuff like that,...
I put a barrel clip on the string to make the adjustments easier and instant and you don't have to untie it over and over,..... you had the string way too long (it was past the hook) in the beginning of the video,
I generally go 8 foot up for the top board, 4 ft. out to the eyelet and 5 for up for the ring,...
8, 4, 5, but sometimes it's nice to change it up a bit if you have multiple games,... different ring sizes different heights and lengths ,....
