Keep in mind that I've only used it for a couple weeks, that being said, so far so good ruclips.net/user/postUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM . Using it at 8 ft. by 8ft. deer blind that is insulated. I have to keep the door cracked for it to get enough air to burn, but that is very likely the wood I've used. Much better quality than I expected for the price. Now if I can just take it easy in the beginning it won't be 90 degrees in my blind. All in all it seems like a keeper.

If you have a Blaze King catalytic "King" you only need to light your stove once a season since it burns 24 hours a day. Even if you have to take ashes out ((perhaps once a month) you move some hot coals to one side and these will relight with hardly any kindling.

Fifteen - 20 pieces of kindling? Whoa 4 or 5 is ok as long as your wood is nice and seasoned.....very dry

I'll stick with my old thick steel, made in the USA non compliant stove. Its been heating this place faithfully since 1977. How long are those air tubes and baffles gonna last till they must be replaced?

Is everyone aware that there is a whole home furnace available from Lamppa in Minnesota that already burns 40% cleaner than the EPA's 2020 emission mandate? That's nearly as clean as a natural gas furnace. Just load the wood and walk away - the furnace takes care of the rest. Dale H

Why do my lungs hurt so much after a winter of burning wood for heat? I had no idea how bad they are.

Yeah,I've got an older buck stove from around 1977 or so. Ya arent gonna load it up like that, lol. Of course I can only go 2 or 3 hours between feedings too. Still puts out good heat and paid for itself many times over.

How burn wise and efficiently do not buy an EPA woodstove. End of lesson.

If you want an efficient burn do not get an epa stove. The one I have will only take fifteen inch logs. They can be no more than 3 to 5 inches across. Also because of the brand (Napoleon) no one in my area will come out to the house and service it. I have even complained to the company with no results. Give me the old cast iron wood/coal stoves
