im a heavy person right now losing weight, and these shoes have been extremely fun right now. i use to think i couldn’t run without experiencing pain due to my weight, but these shoes put instant spring into every step and helped me experience the joy of running again. Asics 4 life
Cumulus is awesome. Thanks for reviewing it. A lot of the bigger channels overlook it because they focus on super high end carbon plated shoes and shoes for hardcore runners. The cumulus has been great for me
I bought it in India fantastic shoes ur review sddedmore inspiration of how to use and what are its best quality it's under my budget in India though it's original from a stockiest from Delhi tusita fashion thanks keep giving real review for real things so we get inspired of buying the proper one
Very helpful and informative! I'm a neutral runner but depending on my pace, can be both a heel striker and a forefoot striker. I noticed that you were forefoot (is that because of the takes you took for the vid?). Your ankle seems to not be neutral imho. Wondering what the stability of the run is like for you.
If you only had one shoe you would be short of a shoe for the other foot 🤣 In the mean time cumulus 25 has just come on the market (almost) and has some big changes just like the Nimbus 25 had. The good thing is that we can now get the Cumulus 24 and the Nimbus 24 at very affordable prices.
Hello, looking to replace my Brooks Ghost - which I love. Great combination of cushion with a good feel of the ground. Which Culumlus /year would you recommend? Any other brands/models with the same characteristics as the Ghost? Thanks!
I got a pair of these on the back of this review. Picked them up on Kogan for $129 AUD and am very, very happy. I started out in a Kayano 28, which was perfect for my first few months while I got used to running, also tried a Hoka Arahi 5 as well but just felt the quality was lacking, not very durable sole, bit of bunching in the toe box etc. As I felt stronger/faster I tried an Asics Gel Excite 8 and Gel Contend 7s thinking I was ready for something with low cushion (and cheap) both solid enough shoes, but were a touch hard for longer runs. The Cumulus 23 has been the perfect mid point for all of those previous though. Much like you said if you only had one shoe it's great, good cushioning but less than the kayano, so feels like it has better energy return, better on the joints than the cheap asics and far sturdier than my Hokas. Cumulus may not be sexy or exciting but it's worked great for me.
How are the cumulus from kogan doing? I'm thinking of buying from kogan too but I'm scared they might be fake? Are the shoes good for all day walking.?
@@bobbrown-so2gt I've now got two pairs. 453km in to one pair, 130 odd in the other pair. I see no reason to think they're fake. Also got a pair of asics evoride 2s off kogan that have been fine too. I've used them for running, good cushioning without being super dooper squishy like Novablasts etc
Clean advice!! Not only we do not get money from shoe companies, we don't accept free samples for review!! We purchase our own shoes with our own money!

I don't run, but I'm super fat and gel cumulus works great for me, I had 19 20 22 and now 24.
I only have 1 shoe at a time and it lasts me 12 to 18 months.
From a fellow fat person, me too. Love my gel cumulus. SO comfortable
Good for walking?

Gusseted tongues are overrated in my opinion anyway.
Brandon, I just found your channel. In what city do you make your videos? I assume that you have an Aussie accent (or NZ).
He's a South African living now in Singapore

Don't land your foot on the forefront, land on the heel when you run!
Won’t you smash up your knees running on your heel like that?
Can't answer that specifically..I was taught to run landing on heel.
@@snehalkrishnan618the shoes are meant to absorb the impacts mechanically. The knees would of it was solid rubber on concrete.
