What an amazing performance. My favourite part is at the end as he's walking off you hear him directly to the recording phone as he walks past; you can hear how happy he is.
Yep. absolutely priceless. esp since we almost didn't get any live sets of his latest stuff. It's been very nice that they have come out in so many different settings and nights. specials for real.
Endlessly frustrating watching the comedians at the end of Nothing Special wondering if Norm ever did this material in front of an audience and whether or not it would kill. The second Norm did his first joke I knew that this was this set. (Roughly, of course, Norm is too good at this to ever do the same set twice.)
I think, in and of itself, displays the actual content of character...When all these "so-called" friends have no idea of his material? I mean, it's nice, in a Divine irony way, a fashion Norm would definitely cackle at, how those raving the loudest are actually being put in a shady light for stating that very comment about his material. Who knows what resides deeply in the heart of man? Letterman, however, hinted at it... all to his credit.
Always admired Norm for that. With the exceptions of Andy Richter and Adam Eget. Then again, he made fun of them to their faces and was all in good humor
I’ll always kick myself that I had tickets to this show but ended up working that night. It’s so hard hearing him talking about blood panels and health, knowing now that Norm already knew that he was a deeply closeted gay man.
We should give an honest shot at trying to bring this guy back to life.
He would have wanted it that way.
Really cant thank you enough for these. priceless. My stand up hero since I was a kid. thanks
Rest In Peace Norm. You tied in your battle against cancer. You didn’t lose.
Nope, it was a tie.
@@timv4612 He was "waging a battle" HAHA
Many can make you laugh, very very few can make you smile. The man is pure joy. RIP and thanks for everything.
Tard
Ashes to ashes, stuff to stuff.
The most subtle 9-11 troll of all time. Genius.
Whoever runs this channel is a legend for finding all these sets

i am still upset he died. I wish I would have got my life together enough to have money to see him before he passed away.
You know if there are flames, by definition there's no darkness.
Wait, Satan just told me it is indeed possible. 😅
thank you for posting these working my way through them just spectacular

Thank you Sarah for getting us the tickets to this and spending the day in DC. It was wonderful.
This is so good
Everyone goes on about his comedic timing but I think what he says and how it says it is they key. "When" he says it hardly seems to even matter!
Gosh darn this is the fucking Norm set I've been fucking fucking looking for
Can you imagine being the lucky ones who got gifted a 2 hour set. Fucking unreal . Stomachs must have been so sore afterwards.
Yes. It's a good abdomen workout. Usually I work my gluts. And by glutes I mean my arse. And by srse I mean gay.
If only I could see his REMAINS 🤣
So original.
Norm is a God among men..... What an amazing talent.

Yeah man, pissed me the fuck off seeing that.

I strongly suspect that norm MacDonald would give letterman a pass. Because he's Dave letterman and norm loved letterman.
doesn't seem like a big thing to be frustrated about.
Well they knew him as a freind foremost, i dont know my freinds are doing at work
Comment below your favorite qualities about Norm. Mine, how he truly is kind never an actual mean or demeaning word to anybody.

I feel like norm's comedy on religion is a reply to that sanctimonious comedian who made the Harry Potter joke on Last Comic Standing.
What Happened? Hillary Rodham Clinton

Brilliant satire of common sense being referred to as hate

This was about 2 years before he lost the 10 years fighting cancer . died 2021
“Huh norm had 3 eye balls! I guess none of us truly knew him”-norms mom.
I always find myself eating pork at times like these.
The Don King story is hilarious
Edit 28:40
The Don King bit they did on Letterman was hysterical. Don King was funny and Letterman taking shots at Don King. Gotta see it.
