Nostalgia from better times
Derek Smith in the 3rd place Mk2 escort was my neighbour around this time. The car was running a naturally aspirated cosworth YB bored out to 2.4 litres. Proper flying machine and one of the first really quick modified Mk2’s in Ireland.
Great to see again
Happy days indeed 👍👍
awesome
Brilliant action ☘️👌
This commentator is a hero!!
Great footage, all four gens of Escorts in one event - splendid!
Now, is that Metro the real thing or one of those neutered versions? It does at least sound like a proper 6R4 to me.
The Metro is a neutered thing by the look of it, it just doesn't look quite right for a 6R4 at least in my opinion.
@@tomwallace4434 Maybe because it doesn't say "COMPUTERVISION" anywhere on it? 🙂
Pete doughty the precision engineer and cosworth man from Nottingham
The handbrake turn is obviously very difficult….
