History has completely forgotten that Reggie Miller missed the gamewinner in Game 4 literally by a CENTIMETER, and then blew out the Lakers in Game 5 (by 33 I believe?) Pacers were extremely close to going into Game 6 with a 3-2 lead.
I was SO disappointed when the Pacers lost. I never REALLY watched another basketball game after that. All that BS with the Knicks in the 90's and coming close pretty much every year that Reggie Miller was on the team, I just couldnt do it. And the Pacers have never really had a team that had any hope making it to the finals again since Reggie retired.
