Looks to me like the remap adds alot more punch at lower rpm but the turbo isn't big enough to flow much better than stock hence only 14bhp peak gain. I've used the blufin maps before and while they have overall been fine, I found other maps to give more power overall
Hi got fiesta st180 with Superchips stage 1 been running it for 12 months now a lot better torque and better fuel economy. Thinking seriously about stage 2
JAJ TV Hi mate not stage 2 yet because Superchips is on lock down. Stage 1 is good for majority of people it’s the cheapest option with minimum engine upgrades. Try super chips stage 1, short shift billet, symposer delete (because it’s annoyingly). Then save and get the GGR DAIS for stage 2 fit it while running stage 1 and try that you won’t be disappointed.
Why didn't you show what power and torque you gained?? That was a copy from website not your car results? I had a bluefin on mine but the map sucked.. switch to revo miles better.. superchips made it snappy but revo was smooth and progressive also made power at high revs not just die off after 5500rpm
I showed the copy from the website because it was based on my car and its easier for people who might not understand the power and torque graphs to see what sort of gains there are, yes I agree Revo probably does make more power etc however that's not what Superchips aim for, they are made to give the driver that slight more power while also making the car stable, reliable and to also try and improve fuel efficiency.
Revo stage 1 does better both Torque and BHP wise than bluefin. and that,s without it being an ST200 !!Revo stage 1, giving around 240 Brake and nearly 300 nm ,on an ST180 !! :-)
I have focus st mk3. Would a remap be to powerful. My mate says it would turn it into a astra vxr. No control to much power. Any help would be great buddy
@@JAJTV Thanks for the reply. I heard that mountune does a map but you need new intercooler all that stuff. Also heard that the st has same as the rs intercooler. What's that all about. I totally want an upgrade but why wouldn't it be standard? Will it blow the turbo or wreck the engine after a few months? Also it's rapid in second gear plus get wheel spin. Would a map be even worse eg spin through 2nd 3rd
@@JAJTVNo It's ok, I've emailed them because they don't have a map for my car, It's a MK8 Ford Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0T (100ps) automatic Thanks for the offer.
Honestly mate don't bother. If u write your car off your insurance will give u a Base book valuation for a payout. If u don't accept this then they will probe your car and scour for ways to keep the valuation the same (scratch here and there) and test your ecu for modifications. The book price is genuinely fair tho and if u have modified accept straight away
Hi mate, just ordered mine for the st line 140bhp...if I'm honest im still a little nervous in case it damages something...have you had any issues?? What did your insurance company say?? Any issues there??
Hey mate, that’s good to hear!! Superchips are conservative tuners, you won’t have an issue! And they were fine you just have to inform them they might increase your premium though!

@@JAJTV bit frustrating this because we saw the standard dyno but not after superchips, doesn't exactly give positive impression about the results. Bluefin apparently causes a fair few problems / isn't a good choice for the 1.0, I dunno about the ST though but a revo / maxd map will be an even bigger upgrade

The car is completely different now in the way the car delivers power it’s more torque lower down and feels better as well! It’s increased the power to 228BHP and increased torque by nearly 70NM from driving it back to back it’s made a huge difference
Hey fluffymat1, James took our Bluefin product, which allows him to swap between remap and stock whenever he likes. He's not replaced anything, he's just added our performance when he wants it :)
My old man always said if you want a fast car buy one from stock. Ford spent how long developing that st only for you to shit on there development skills 😂😂. Can I just ask so you spent the best part of £500 pounds for 20bhp and 70lb ft torque. What are your plans to do with it. You done all that and it would still struggle against my 525d e60 🤣😂
Who has got a remap on their car? and whats your thoughts on it?

Great to see you James, glad you enjoyed your experience :) Looking forward to going Stage 2 ;)

Did you go for Stage 2? What does it consist of?
How mad were you when he opened your door into the wall? 😬
He didn’t actually hit the wall I don’t believe so it’s all good! 😂
If your car is under manufacturers warranty having it chiped does that make it void
How is the engine life after your installed it? I'm considering buying one for my ST-Line 140hp
Really good mate no issue at all! Let me know if you want to do it for yours I might be able to get you a discount!
