First day on the job -
Me: "Hi I'm here to drive the truck from the gas station. Where is my drone with a camera that flys to the perfect position and feeds that footage back to my screen as I reverse?"
employer: "excuse me."
Me: "there must be one, I cant reverse into place without it!"
Employer "You've been playing an 'ultra-realistic' simulator I see."

I usually do it from the inside, but the mirror quality isn't that good tbh, I can do it perfectly in ETS 😉
@@lnx2016 yeah fair point. The game isn't really made specifically for trucking. And being able to do it without change of camera on ETS is pretty good going 👍
Not sure id be able to yet. I wonder how much ETS translates into real world truck driving. Like if you could get a good feel of whether or not truck driving would be a good career path or whether someone would be good at it.
I guess they don't simulate all the more tedious and annoying aspects tho, like patronising dispatchers or all the pre trip inspections etc.
Do you know if any of the console knock offs of ETS are any good?
Feels a bit optimistic to be able to pull all that through sand in real life...
Yeah BeamNG off-road isn't that good
@@lnx2016 Seen a bit of the same tendency in games like Snowrunner etc..
You would be seriously stuck that deep in mud or snow in real life..
It feels a bit as if the vehicles in the game are driving in mud but with solid ground underneath..

What specs you running? My pc can hardly handle the new r series anymore lol. Gotta upgrade eventually so it would help out a bunch

How did you change your first person pov?
you can increase the fov by pressing numpad 3 or 9
bro how to disappear mouse cursor in screen
make sure you're in full screen mod, and it will disappear

Press F, i think it was added somewhere in 0.29
Exactly, press F then used WASD to control your movements
How do you get out of the truck in the game?
Press F, and control it with WASD

How do you make the rearview mirrors look so good like that??
Maybe try to increase the resolution of "Detailed Mirrors" in game
The updated T-series uses a new improved mirror tech. Hopefully other vehicles will get small updates for it without needing to wait for a full overhaul
