Hello! Thanks for watching this animatic, I made it for my final project at college, and I'm proud of how it turned out!

thought I’d explain the story of this animatic a little more clearly:
Flame and Spirit (Sonic and Shadow) are the vessels for the two halves of Solaris; Iblis and Mephiles. Whilst the sun god Solaris is together, the two vessels are trapped within a temple, and are tasked with guarding the Candle that keeps Solaris together.
Flame gets tired of the routine, and feels he is destined for more than this. One day, he goes to the Candle for answers, and is compelled to touch it.
Spirit finds him in the midst of this, and begs him to stop, for fear of the Candle being disturbed - or worse - extinguished.
Flame touches the Candle, after a strong urge from Solaris itself, and sees flashes of his life outside the temple void.
He pleads with Spirit that they could have more meaningful and fulfilled lives, and in a fit of emotion, extinguishes the Candle.
As Solaris splits apart, Flame and Spirit embrace one another. Soon after, Flame is ripped away, and Spirit gives him a reassuring smile.
And so they fall, wondering where fate will have them end up...

it's a bit fuzzy for them! the hall with the candle existed outside of time and space so their minds can't really comprehend if it happened or not :0
