AND.... it's getting worse. The entire report revolves around the idea of what would it take to make homes 'affordable' again. Because, during any housing bubble, it becomes concentrated in fewer hands. Expect a tsunami of supply in the coming months when all the speculators head for the exits en masse in a rising rate environment.
Affordability is not getting much better. Prices are plateauing and new some new inventory to market but it's no where near whats needed to bring affordability to the average Canadian. More inventory will come in the coming months but the average person will still be well behind being able to afford it.

Do you really think that housing is going to be less concentrated and spread out among more hands long term?
