Te ao Māori, Ainu people celebrate 151 years of T.W. Rātana

Celebrations to mark the 151th birthday of the prophet and founder of the Rātana faith has concluded with whakamoemiti and a visit by the Ainu people of Japan, recognising a long-lasting relationship stretching back to the time of Tahupōtiki Wiremu Rātana.
