No worries! It's take a while to figure them all out.

Thanks Tony. That was a bit impromptu but I thought it might be interesting and I had a calm downwind run all the way to Woody Point.

Ah, the joys of a retired race boat! All those control lines.... but sails like a dream for a bargain price!
In your boat tour there were some lines you didn't describe, Jason. There are a pair of lines which emerge just at the forward inboard end of the side decks and meet just below the goose-neck, then go up to somewhere. They kind of look like (dinghy style) lower shrouds but don't seem to do that job......?
And did you wade ashore, or use an inflatable?

Hi Tom, those lines you describe are shock cord, which is tied to the goose-neck. Their job is the keep the flailing jib sheets from getting caught on the mast. They were in place when I bought her so I just left them there. Yes I can just wade ashore, the draft is 2'6" so if I'm quick ashore I can be back on board before the tide changes too much. Too many lines I agree! Nearly half of them are associated with the spinnaker which I never use when sailing alone, but I've left them there because occasionally I have crew and we launch it.

Is rig hard to set up?

Hi Daniel, sorry for the delay. Yes the rig is pretty complex. Not hard, but just a dozen or so different lines. Not the sort of boat you want to be raising and dropping the mast on every time you sail. Some of the lines run inside the mast, others outside, mast lines run down a channel in the cockpit back to the centre console.
