After the recent, slightly depressing materials, it's time for something doubly optimistic!
So let's move to the Krakow railway crossing in Zakliki Street from Mydlniki (actually from Międzygórze) until 2006.
On the previously existing freight siding supplying the airport and fuel warehouse, after a minor renovation, regular passenger transport was launched on May 25, 2006, based on diesel rolling stock produced by Kolzam in Racibórz (SA109-009 visible in the film was the last vehicle produced before the bankruptcy of this company).
The first trains to Balice ended at the platform located on the premises of the military unit (it was amazing that this could be arranged) and it was still about 400 meters to walk to the airport terminal. Despite these inconveniences and frequent failures (Kolzams no longer had a guarantor or parts manufacturer), the connection surprisingly gained popularity.
This led in 2014 to the reconstruction of the line into two tracks, the construction of a new section right next to the airport terminal, electrification, an increase in the line speed to 80 km/h, the construction of new stops and the introduction of passenger agglomeration journeys on the Balice Airport - Wieliczka route from September 25, 2015. In a word - it blew Europe, and in a good sense of the word... today we have 39 pairs of trains a day!
With the electrification of the line, Kolzam SA109-009, which had been in reserve for some time, was delegated to the north on July 10, 2014 and operated routes near Chojnice until October 23, 2017... until a serious collision with a garbage truck occurred. : :

After this incident, no one gave any chance that he would ever appear on the track again! Well, maybe apart from Przewozy Regionalne, which uses it and for some reason insisted on repairing it. After two years, the seriously damaged equipment was purchased by Przewozy Regionalne, and after a year of repairs, it returned to service and is still running today!

Ciekawa historia i związana z linią kolejową na lotnisko i wagonu motorowego SA109 😎👍
Gdyby Kolzam zdążył naprodukować ich więcej, może kilka linii doczekałoby kolei marszałkowskich i takich mieczkowskich, którzy jak wiadomo stawiają na nogi nawet zhakowane pojazdy 😉😉

Ta historia pokazuje doskonale, że i u nas da się, tylko trzeba być baaardzo upartym i wiedzieć jak pocisnąć pewne instytucje (albo raczej kim pocisnąć).
Tym bardziej cieszy, że oba tematy miały tak znakomity finał, mimo początkowej beznadziei, podczas kiedy inne grzęzną wciąż w urzędowych czeluściach...
