I picked up the G400 SFT (NOS) in ‘21 from a local pro shop. I have to say it works in terms of fighting a push/slice. Most days I am center or just left of center, a bad day is hugging the right side. Acoustics wise, I much rather hear the old SLDR that serves as the backup/guest driver. This review has me thinking about getting an update fitting with the 430SFT.
Just hot fit with the G430 sft in draw basis with an Alta shaft. I occasionally loose some to the right and some left but I just hate going right. It's not just to cure a slice, it's also for people like me who's a rightophobe 😂😂
I don’t understand how you got to the conclusion that the 430 was better when it was essentially identical in all categories, except left side bias, which was better with the 425. I love my 430 Max, but this seems like a win for the 425 SFT for the target consumer.
The test was in the standard draw setting (this location is more centered than the g425 which doesn’t have an adjustable weight). If you move the weight to draw+ position it’ll give you similar left side bias to the g425. Overall, better sound, can fit more golfers with the draw and draw+ setting, and slightly faster ball speeds.
Extreme slicers would be helped with this. I like the Max option because it can be easily adjusted as your swing changes. Slices caused by heel strikes will benefit from these drivers. Adding loft with the loft sleeve (closing the face) is best for face to path issues.
Yeah it will take away the bad shot to the right and make you hit bad shots too the left. That’s what it did for me yesterday at Ducks Sporting Good. They over did the draw Bias double what they should have
I was chasing distance so I changed driver from my Ping 400 Max, so I got the PXG 0311 Gen5 to get less spin. Well...stick with what's good. I'm so consistent down the middle with my Ping it's like night and day. Sure, I may have gotten 10-15 extra yards from PXG but that is 2 out of 10 shots. So, can you also do head-to-head with the Max?

Thanks. this is what i wanted to know
Just purchased the G430 to replace my G410 driver. Haven't used it yet. Just bought it Saturday, September 21.
Soooo would you say the SFT is better than the Max? or no?
Absolutely love my 425 sft
Bought the 10.5 sft and turned loft down to 9 to offset some of the draw factor and it’s pretty sweet!
Awesome review of this club.
Hands Down. Ping make the best driver’s and woods
Funny how the sound of a birdie dropping, now has the flagstick in. Kudos for going with the times!
The flagstick STAYS in 😉

I got fitted into the G430 SFT it is fantasticI now have a draw with all my clubs. My driver was the only club that would leak right. Not anymore!
Great video..was torn between the two..switching from an old cobra that needs to be retired 😂

My miss is a slice.... question for me is should I work on fixing the slice with my swing, or let tech solve it for me like these Ping SFT drivers?

"acoustics are better in the 430" i dont give a shit if it moans as long as it helps my slice 😂
155mph ? That's imposible
