To be honest i have no idea where that is so im going to say no lol. Simplest reason is scap net is a lot to carry and this spot is a loooong hike. Thanks for watching! Gonna pump out a few striper vids in the spring.
Hey men nice video , i love to see and see again your salmon fishing video as well . Come for striped bass fishing in jersey city hudson river , there is two hot spot over there . Think you will love it . Keep posting love your videos
Fuck that was exciting waitin and watching what the striper is goin to do. What a bad ass fish man! I can’t wait to go Chase them in October! Nice one bud!
Great video. I like the way you used a lure to bring in the bait fish. I'm going to try that. I was using a whole mackerel this one day when I was after a 40 plus inch striper but I hooked a great white shark instead while fishing fom my kayak. Part of my video was used on the Discovery Channel episode called The Great White North. Toss me a subscription too, if you like, I only need a couple more to get 1000 :) Cheers
A regular net is 100% legal to scap herring on the main river or a scap net up to 16sq ft (4x4) without a commercial license. Only need a commercial license for bigger than that. It's tidal tributaries and within 100ft of the creek mouths and man made bays like back bays within suckholes, where no netting herring is permitted and can only be caught by angling.
That beauty was your reward for showing self control and listening to Hunter about when to set the hook, good job!
He was like a guide, and i wldve set that hook early if not for him!
Great video. I like you’re way of explaining what you’re doing.
Great fish
Thanks greatly appreciate it
Nice Striper Jag! We got 3 at the END of the Hudson River in Raritan Bay / Arthur Kill on Friday! They make tasty tacos!

Love the video can’t wait for this coming season, are you guys fishing from around the Schodack area? And why not use a scap net for the herring?

We get them from the kayaks in the Croton Area. The bunker are in and are starting to get big fish in the lower river.
That is something i definitely want to do! Hook in to one of those bad boys in a kayak and get dragged around....that sounds like a rush!

Too bad the net isn’t legal.
100%...unless he has a scapping permit. Then it's ok.
