Its shit mate, I had something like that and its badly flawed. When you screw that atach on tyour thread and tighten it , it will fuck the thread up, chew it up leaving it useless.
I toured with two of these for 8 months or so and had the opposite experience. They always stayed connected and didn’t ruin the threading of my cymbal stands. Sorry you had such a bad experience, sounds like with a different product.
I have several brand stands, Pearl, PDP, Gibraltar, CB, SP. It doesn't screw onto any of them. They are all the same thread also. And the sleeve inside the hi hat isn't even threaded. Is that why you didn't finish tightening it down? Seems like a crap design unless I got a bad one?
I’ve used this on the road for 10 plus years and never had problems. I leave it attached to my cymbal stand and that works for me. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you but it’s possible that you may have received a defective product, mis-threaded the attachment, or your cymbals stand was low quality.
I have used one for years and I love it. Never had any issues or hardware problems.
Love it, same!
Thanks for the video, was wondering how it went on a cymbal stand
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice. Go Pack Go.
Very helpful, thank you
So glad!🙌

I think that the problem here was that you used a low quality cymbal stand to attach the X Hat

@@arknives4647Same here. Mine won’t screw down on any of my cymbal arms, even Gibraltar ones. WTF?
