NO SBMM has almost killed off X Defiant... :) everyone complains about it and yet when there is none everyone complains... the big issue is disbanding the lobby every time so you cant battle the same team.

I don’t get how skill based matchmaking can be a thing when I sometimes play to play well and do my best, other times I’m trying to do camo or weekly challenges, level up new guns, or just goof off and crawl the whole match.
It’s not because then those buying skins will quit / not spend so once you’re whooping a lobby with more paid skins, you’ll notice you get put into a lobby that destroys you I noticed this after deleting the hq BS (making me DL 100+ GB every update then shutting down and making me DL every file.. yeah right) and going back to MW19 it happens more often than not, but it seems because of the residual players left with paid skins Just test it, stay in a game with lots of paid skins and you’ll see next game you’ll be crawling like you say

At this point, simply waiting for the BO6 beta, but I'm not getting my hopes up. With what you said about SBMM/EOMM whatever you wanna call it now, I'm not looking forward to it at all. I solo play and matches feel like I'm in a ranked lobby half the time. Gets a bit insane after a while. I also feel like the omnidirectional movement is going to create a lot of cheese for players. The AI Assisted moving is pure laziness. At this point, make it so you just push the stick forward and it does everything else for you from aiming and firing, to throwing grenades, ect.
Already wasn't planning on buying this game, but now you telling me that they're not doing anything to the sbmm plus the other crap they've got going on. If we as the player base want change we're going to have to force it!!!

Xbox live is $10 per month, so that's a sunk cost. The additional $10 per Month for game pass ultimate means you are getting a deal by playing a minimum of 2 new games per year. Totally worth it. Sbmm old news too. Lots of overactive here

When you brought up stick drift while talking about omni-direction movement, what do you mean? Stick drift only affects when you're standing still, it's not going to make any difference. You can already move every direction: why would stick drift affect sprinting, diving, sliding, etc
I believe maybe the fact that some people have really bad stick drift, their characters will likely start sprinting to the sides or backwards instead of slowly walking.

No call of duty needs a "battle royal", no call of duty needs over complicated movement systems, no call of duty needs this awful SBMM system, no call of duty needs to have a battle pass, or skins that don't even make sense in the games. MW3 reboots movement feels alright, and if they want dolphin diving, and sliding they should just keep the MW3 movement system.

I don’t think ODM is gonna be a problem. The most annoying thing you’ll have to deal with is the diving but I rarely see ppl use diving in any cod. Ppl are gonna test it for the first couple weeks but then they’ll stop using it and it’ll feel like a normal cod with odm walking

Lately been thinking that sbmm honestly wouldn't change things for higher skilled players in the long run that much unless you have a streak of bad games or you're actively smurfing. Apparently X Defiant is gradually becoming more sweaty because the fanbase is stabilizing with those that are not as skilled leaving due to constantly playing in stacked lobbies. We'll have to see how things play out as time goes on. If Activision were to loosen it somehow, that'd be great, but it's understandable why it's implemented and the "preferred" system they use. Massive title = massive reach = higher skill variance. The higher skilled players are already invested into the game and will keep playing cus at some point they'll get knocked down a tier and will get a streak of good games. And the lower skilled players will gradually become invested as they learn the game at their own pace and move up through the tiers and occasionally get shit on in a few games against someone much better. If Activision just got rid of the in game on the fly buffs and nerfs based on how you're moving and playing and fixed the packet bursts and frame interpolation bullshit, that would probably improve the game significantly. Sweaty matches are usually okay if they doesn't degrade into half the lobby using shotguns and lmgs 3 minutes into a match.
Only people that want sbmm off are sweats. Reminds me of the time it got disabled temporarily and it was just mediocre players getting absolutely stomped. You dont feel like playing ranked? I dont feel like playing against way better players.
Omnimovement will prolly end up being loved by most. The people complaining about an “OG feel” are the same that keep wanting to play only Highrise, Scrapyard, and Quarry every release. Let the game evolve. If it’s just more of the same, the numbers are gonna keep dwindling. Most people are super tired of the “OG feel”. It’s only people commenting online that want the same thing over and over.
Was really hoping Actishitson would've seen how popular Xdefiant is with it being marketed as having no SBMM, in correlation with their plummeting numbers, and maybe just give it up. It's clear their games are dying sooner and faster than ever, and SBMM is a prime reason why. Why do they keep it? It's the cause of their downfall.
I like the idea of omni directional movement it will definately increase the skill gap for people who master the new mechanics its really gunna suck for those that dont though, i feel like with the less button press system, think thats just making the game all round easier for every single player in the game. People are capable of pressing those buttons and still dominating. So dont really see the point. IMO
I don’t like round based zombies and now the sbmm is confirmed to be in multiplayer I won’t be buying this game 😢. I’ll just wait and play warzone for free when it comes out! I don’t care about getting shit on if the other players are good in multiplayer but if my shots are on point and they simply aren’t registering and I shot first, I’ll get pissed and leave the match or if my teammates are complete trash then I’ll leave the match too. Connection should be main priority and then having 1 - 2 really consistently good players on each team based on stats should be second priority!
As someone with less than 6 total minutes in multiplayer and never touched touched war zone once ever I see BO6 as an amazing game because I strictly only play zombies I literally have 3800 hours in mwz and another 8000 in Cold War zombies multiplayer is just to stressful of a game mode in my opinion

It's not sbmm, it’s way worse it’s eomm. So forced wins and losses. Messing with your hitregistration and spawns just to mess you up when you're doing good. That's not sbmm, that’s engagement optimised mm. So way more manipulated and out of your control.
So now if you pay for Ultimate for a whole console generation(8years) it'll be $1920 and the console cost is $550 so together that's $2470. You can buy a REALLY good PC for that much and not have to worry about your library of games being locked down to a generation of consoles.
Gonna sound controversial, playstation and xbox should merge. Call it Xstation. This way developers can focus on one major consol edition, this will make it easier when going next gen too. This way they won't have to F up games that are bi generation and multi platform, that's 4 different games being made essentially. Cod ghosts, ps3/ps4/xbox360/xbox1 We can then minimise competition and maximise cooperation and really take gaming into the next generation.

If the movement is similar to Max Payne 3, I wouldn’t mind. Honestly the maps will make or break the game. The only map I played in MW2 was Shipment because the other maps were absolutely terrible. If MW3 didn’t bring back all of the classic maps, I would have skipped that title. MW3 is a vast improvement over MW2 but I’m just concerned that the maps in Black Ops 6 will be terrible. Also, I don’t want an AI controlling my movement. This should be NOTHING like Cod Mobile.

Apparently X Defiant is gradually becoming more sweaty because the fanbase is stabilizing with those that are not as skilled leaving due to constantly playing in stacked lobbies. We'll have to see how things play out as time goes on.
If Activision were to loosen it somehow, that'd be great, but it's understandable why it's implemented and the "preferred" system they use. Massive title = massive reach = higher skill variance. The higher skilled players are already invested into the game and will keep playing cus at some point they'll get knocked down a tier and will get a streak of good games. And the lower skilled players will gradually become invested as they learn the game at their own pace and move up through the tiers and occasionally get shit on in a few games against someone much better.
If Activision just got rid of the in game on the fly buffs and nerfs based on how you're moving and playing and fixed the packet bursts and frame interpolation bullshit, that would probably improve the game significantly.
Sweaty matches are usually okay if they doesn't degrade into half the lobby using shotguns and lmgs 3 minutes into a match.

I'll most likely stick to zombies unless they remove lobby disbanding, without that I'd play multiplayer way more

Omnimovement will prolly end up being loved by most. The people complaining about an “OG feel” are the same that keep wanting to play only Highrise, Scrapyard, and Quarry every release. Let the game evolve. If it’s just more of the same, the numbers are gonna keep dwindling. Most people are super tired of the “OG feel”. It’s only people commenting online that want the same thing over and over.
Was really hoping Actishitson would've seen how popular Xdefiant is with it being marketed as having no SBMM, in correlation with their plummeting numbers, and maybe just give it up. It's clear their games are dying sooner and faster than ever, and SBMM is a prime reason why. Why do they keep it? It's the cause of their downfall.

I like the idea of omni directional movement it will definately increase the skill gap for people who master the new mechanics its really gunna suck for those that dont though, i feel like with the less button press system, think thats just making the game all round easier for every single player in the game. People are capable of pressing those buttons and still dominating. So dont really see the point. IMO
I don’t like round based zombies and now the sbmm is confirmed to be in multiplayer I won’t be buying this game 😢. I’ll just wait and play warzone for free when it comes out!
I don’t care about getting shit on if the other players are good in multiplayer but if my shots are on point and they simply aren’t registering and I shot first, I’ll get pissed and leave the match or if my teammates are complete trash then I’ll leave the match too. Connection should be main priority and then having 1 - 2 really consistently good players on each team based on stats should be second priority!
Bf4 had the automatic vault system and bf5 have the Omni directional movement with the crouch sprint. This is nothing new. Cod is running outta ideas

As someone with less than 6 total minutes in multiplayer and never touched touched war zone once ever I see BO6 as an amazing game because I strictly only play zombies I literally have 3800 hours in mwz and another 8000 in Cold War zombies

SBMM isnt an issue its EOMM or atleast thw prameters they consider with SBMM...its conpletely backwards (unless you just want more profit)

I don’t mind sbmm, yeah it pisses me off like the next guy but when you think about it and I mean really think on it, it will make us better at the game. Like remember at one point we were the christmas noobs, we did get slammed but we got better from it. We adapt and do better but we don’t see it until later. My main worry about Bo6 is the fact the A.I. Is doing the work. That is just going to bore people further so I’m not sure why they added it.

It's not sbmm, it’s way worse it’s eomm. So forced wins and losses. Messing with your hitregistration and spawns just to mess you up when you're doing good.

So now if you pay for Ultimate for a whole console generation(8years) it'll be $1920 and the console cost is $550 so together that's $2470. You can buy a REALLY good PC for that much and not have to worry about your library of games being locked down to a generation of consoles.

If the movement is similar to Max Payne 3, I wouldn’t mind. Honestly the maps will make or break the game. The only map I played in MW2 was Shipment because the other maps were absolutely terrible. If MW3 didn’t bring back all of the classic maps, I would have skipped that title. MW3 is a vast improvement over MW2 but I’m just concerned that the maps in Black Ops 6 will be terrible. Also, I don’t want an AI controlling my movement. This should be NOTHING like Cod Mobile.
