Parasaurolophus from Carnivores Redrawn | Speedpaint | Dinosaur Fan Concept

A reimagining but mostly a faithful interpretation of the Parasaurolophus from the original 1998 Carnivores game but in my style. Commissioned and art directed by Azores. We kept the very retro Knight-esque aesthetic while doing some minor anatomical updates. Really happy with how this retrosaur concept sheet turned out! Drawn in Procreate. Trying to do more commission work in Procreate since seeing the timelapse is so neat. Hope you all enjoy seeing it too!

What better for draw paleoart, digital draw or pencil draw? And how to learn draw dinosaur poses?

Whatever you're most comfortable working in is what's best. Basically digital or traditional both have their strengths but if you're fighting the medium then you'll have a hard time also learning extinct anatomy. Draw lots of living animals based on photographs and those skills transfer right over to extinct animals.
