200 quid for solid wood dresser with mirror and brass pulls! Meanwhile, I just watched a walk-around in a brand new furniture shop with dressers, not solid wood, for 10x that. No latches on the drawers either. You know which one I'd be after! That, and those mint green chairs and the library spinner. Useful as heck. The oyster plates Vince can keep, unless one can eat a bacon butty off of them.
For true that. My home is full of georgian and victorian antiques of excellent quality bought for a song. The joys of "brown furniture". I have some modern 1950'-60', but not a lot. Great channel Mr Harper, love your enthusiasm.
Brilliant show and glad that you are doing so well -me too - but pretty busy myself - that is why the contact has been scares - and still not finished - and dread full weather here and for you too stay save and have a Happy New Year @@DavidHarperAntiques
Indeed. Some marvellous value out there in clocks these days. Sadly, the biggest cost is often getting them restored. My 1820s clock cost me about 2K Euro to buy ten years ago. It probably wouldn’t make that now. It cost me 1250 Euro to get it restored. It was worth every penny. Keeps time to within the minute over 8 days.
That smaller clock I would love to hear it chime, and I would like to know more about it
The tea caddy is lovely. A beautiful piece of history that you can look at every day.
I’m admiring it as I write!
I’m loving my Regency Tea Caddy!
It’s beautiful
Is that a rosewood veneer?
I do hope you filmed the auction and you bidding on it.
I love it
I'm such a sucker for clocks... Greetings from Pennsylvania, David!
Hello to you…me too, more so these days as they’re such value for money!
Dear David and David and Vincent, Have fun and make money! Hello to Taunton from the USA!
Fun and money actually go together well! Hello from Taunton!
Hello USA From Taunton!👍🕺🏻
It’s a real buyer’s market out there when you hear some of those estimates! Happy hunting.
Remarkable isn’t it !

Excellent from all involved!
I can’t believe that anyone uses other auction houses, with the fees involved 🤪😖
Cheers Danny, they’re onto their third auction now…and they’ve doubled the consignments!
Is it wrong that my dream is to own a tea caddy like the one in the video
It makes perfect sense to me!
Long case clock. To steal your saying, it was delicious. I've always wanted one. What a great price too. Oh well, one day
Buy one before the start going back up in price!
