I actually think this was the first time Lois has asked Clark for help. Usually she hates when Clark gets involved especially when it is over a guy she likes.
@@raphaelzeon4422 They weren't friends or had that ribbing dynamic between them at that point. In Crusade, Clark was reprogrammed as Kal-El and not his usual self. In the next episode she did come to him for help again but not out of trust like she did here but more out of necessity.
Well, by the time she figures out Clark’s... she clues into how much Clark is different, reviewing Torch stores etc, and how much mr and mrs Kent where protective. It becomes Clark not being secretive but instead is being protective intuition. Tho she COULDA HAVE GOTTEN angry over Clark’s perpetrating Ollies lie/secret. That kiss tho... that kiss that kiss, that WONDERFUL kiss... *drops the mike*. Now that a certain song is in your head I’ll sign off. ;)
@@thomask70 Ollie's secret wasn't Clark's secret to divulge so she couldn't have gotten mad at him for keeping someone's else's secret. Also with Clark's secret, by that point she realized how huge it was and how an entire city/world depended on him unlike the Green Arrow who was small potatoes in comparison to the Blur. Also unlike Ollie, Clark did not run off on secret missions and keep Lois away but included her in his life despite being a hero, which is why when she learned the truth about him in Infamous, she said "This was different" after she had told him about the u-turns she made after every hero she had been with in the past. Clark is the exception to Lois' no heroes rule she made after breaking it off with Oliver. Even while she was still with him, she realized the hero thing was an issue which is why she made a big deal about it to Clark because Oliver had been acting like other heroes she was with in the past acted, which is how Clark did not act because he made room for her in his life. That's why she shut her mouth about Clark being a hero & didn't make a big deal about it both in Infamous and again after she found out in Salvation. Even in Idol when she temporarily knew again and had been pissed at the Blur for not having called her in a while, as soon as she realizes Clark is the Blur, she immediately shuts the hell up & starts behaving again.
So was Chole, she never “snitched” Lana knew Clark’s secret all of 24 hours and lex found out she knew… but even that’s not snitching and neither is lois
Lois trusted Clark with this over Chloe. That speaks a lot about their friendship at this point. ❤️

@@lstarsabb not exactly the first time. In episode one of season 4, she approached Clark to uncover the truth behind Chloe's murder.
