Yes, we and social media r always evolving. I feel like after 2 yrs of eyeshadow buying, customers will have everything they need to dupe future color stories. Recently I binge watched Angelica Nyqvist's BYOP and Juvia's Place playlists. It was really fun to see her old vids and how trends have changed and cycled, along w YT itself.

Hi Cara. Beautiful braids. Even August is enthusiastic to style them. He is a big support of your ambition. Such a stylish cut August.
Growth is a key to unlock new areas to our journey. I have seen you grow a lot on your channel. It is good to hear our inner self and understanding our own truths. Everyday we are changing. I think your list of priority brands is where you are at this moment. I say keep there. I also feel as we do our channels that the new sparks or loves intensify to other things such as you mentioned traveling. Perhaps what you started the channel to do has helped you to where you are today. I enjoy your content. It is refreshing to hear your thoughts. Speak on it. I feel most of us are probably there, been there or heading there. Creativity in us is what keeps us happy. I view makeup as a form of art. Art evolves in so many ways and take on many waves. :)
It is OK to simplify. Simplification allows time to get to know what we have and share more of it.
I also think once we have acquired a good size collection. We already seen it and looking for something different. I know I feel this way. When it is affordable, I can acquire a lot. The main things I want I should just save for it. It feels better to own a collection that's simplified and zoned in to specifics. Yet I am eclectic. I like what I like. Reviews does require often purchases until one gets to obtain from PR firms or brands. Even then one has to continue purchasing to grow the channel.
I am working on being more selective. Too Faced I will buy a palette which captures my eye. I love their primer - Shadow Insurance. NEST Vanilla Bourbon sounds really good. I can't wait to see this at Sephora. Tom Ford quads and blush duo look pretty. I agree with you from your perspective and where to get it.

Hey Cara! That NYX blush is popping, it’s still on my wishlist. I have been buying more fragrances and luxury beauty products lately. I need to switch up and give some love to the more affordable beauty brand products. I love the braids, always so gorgeous.
Yes I want to travel! Definitely have cut down on my makeup spending I got a lot of things I need to do! But I did get the Adept Legend of Ardra palette and for my first look I created the 2nd look you did in your video! Also yes I am tired of the fairies! I also think they all look alike! The braids look nice. I’ve been doing a lot of “shopping my stash” I’ve come to a season in my life to appreciate what I have. I recently finished chemo and going through what I’ve been going through it makes you really see things differently. I have been blessed to have so many beautiful makeup products and I’m enjoying using them. I also want to travel so new make is definitely not a priority to me. So take your makeup on vacation and enjoy it. ❤
I was a fairy expert in high school. I can for sure guarantee there are in fact black fairies. I'm not buying a product with a fairy on it until they use a black fairy.

I love that companies are putting things out there that hopefully inspire us and they change with seasons and moods. Totally. And it's not that I'm not buying, because I am. But I get so much joy from Shop My Stash and Palette Bingo. I think there's space for both of those approaches.
Oh dang Charlotte! I'll be buying it! I panned mine like 2 months after I got it. 😂 So I want it for my Charlotte collection. I love my luxury, and I love my indie. 😂 But I've been good at passing so I'm okay with this one. 😂
I'm glad Ensley came out with smaller palettes, but I have all their big ones so I don't need them. AND I would recommend people to spend $15 more and get a bigger one. 😂 Not spending $50 and $55.
Oh yeah, I want a couple of those Smashbox palettes. Everything else is a pass. I'm tired of the constant releases and cash grabs. I have a nice collection cuz I didn't pass on anything for like 2 years. 😂 I'm done. Makeup fatigued.

I own over 500 nail polishes, mostly salon (e.g., OPI), indies (e.g., ILNP), and a few luxury (e.g., Dior). For ease of application (e.g., self-levelling, no flooding), salon brands are hit and miss, indies are mostly hits, and luxury brands are rarely misses. Luxury brands usually come with nice brushes that make polish application even easier. I can't give wear time estimates as I change my polish at least twice a week. Hope this helps. ❤

That light yellow iridescent from Shine by SD looks absolutely dreamy.
Am afraid to try that new Libre. The original is one of my all time favourite fragrances; bet the new one is amazing and I'll have to have it. Citrus Blonde sounds really good, too.
Yes Shine is expensive but when she puts those singles on sale you can get an amazing deal! They are so phenomenal!!

I felt the same way….my channel started out as a makeup channel “makeup by Londa” and I was a mua and a mua teacher over seas….I was feeling burnt out around the “panarama” time…changed my channel to jus Londa…slowly started talking abt stuff tht was on my chest…now I rarely do makeup reviews bc I’ve been doing this since 2010/11 and really nothing is new or innovating🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️…so I get it…plus it was had for a dark skin black women to break through when the already had their champion🤷🏾♀️. Do what’s best for u…bc every time I move I aways have to here the movers comments abt how much makeup I hv 🤣🤣🤣

There most certainly are differences in nail polish... I have had Marc Jacobs nail polish for over a decade and they were the same as when I bought them. Chanel is the same. Drug store, the polish can give you years of use but it's hit or miss. Most luxury polish is one swipe and you have a good looking nail.. then there are the ingredients and the smell they give off. And that typically indicates the toxicity in the ingredients. .. I find that wear time is more dependent on base and top coat and how much you do with your hands... I am a retired nail polish addict ... there is a world of difference between brands... I now use mainly Essie and Chanel ... just because that's what's easiest for me to get in the Virgin Islands. Neither of those are the best brands but they are solid dependable brands with good range of shades.... 😊 enough dissertation back to the video

I keep hearing conflicting thoughts on the new NYX cheek products. I would consider a bronzer to replace mine when I finish it, but then I heard it was not good. I also heard the products are fragile and I like to travel with my products.

Oh, I am HERE for the Klarity Leprechaun palette! I'm looking forward to the reveal, but I 100% agree on getting the products the month BEFORE the holiday. I need to feel out the product on me. Get an idea of the looks I like, and then I want to wear the product on the holiday. I already have my Halloween costume lined up for this year. Here's a hint: He's a beloved bear 🐻

I only am buying what I really want and not having to buy everything. I only bought the Adept and Beauty Bay Botanical palettes, because I really wanted them, and a no to everything else, that will just sit there and not be used.
I like whimsical garden/fairie themes and space themes, so not sick of them yet.

I have queen of glow quads and some others of charlotte’s. They are ok I prefer her palettes as well. Some of the latafa perfumes yes girl yum

But have you tried any brushes from Fude? They are a Japanese brand that makes handmade makeup brushes in natural fibers. They have some synthetic but their natural fibers are AHmazing!!

I liked the Hermes, ND & SG launches. Im going to get a couple lip creams from SG in the upcoming sale, and i thought of getting the smaller palettes, but what im really after is certain tones of neutral eyeshadows. Collecting all the SG brown eyeshadows is going to cost quite a bit, so im thinking Im going to get Colourpop Bare Necessities instead. Is it obnoxiously large? Yes, but i think its my best chance at getting the colors I want withouth spending a ton for ND Biba or a pro mua brand palette wich usually cost around $80. I also was eyeing Persona Identity one palette. Well see what I end up with

I ended up buying the new nd rose palette cuz I don’t hav3 retro. I’ve been growing my collection since 2021 and I already see repeats in between all the palettes I have, so I can’t even imagine yours…=money wasted.
I do want the new flutter palette and pat mcgrath quads….also want to try the nyx blushes 🤦🏾♀️ but no I don’t NEED anything! I’ve saving a lil cuz I now use the brow pencil from maybelline { thanks to u} and maybelline foundation and L’Oréal mascara…my excuse to spend more in other categories of mu 🤦🏾♀️🩷
