    I no shit, sat on the water for 8hrs trouble shooting this. Only to think "I bet my transducer needs to be rotated" low and behold. Thanks again mane. 😊

    Actually, finding your lure using this method is nearly impossible. The mounting angle to get away from the motor head causes the directions to get a bit skewed the further you cast. It drives me crazy.

    I would not mount it on the trolling motor shaft. If your motor has location lock, the motor will be sweeping left and right as it tries to hold the boat's position. As a result, you lose contact with the target.

    What about the arm that goes on the mount on the shaft and then to the transducer ?
