- Thanks to Joe Fiteni For requesting Klasky Csupo! Enjoy! In 1982, Klasky-Csupo (pronounced "CLASS-key CHEW-po") was formed in a bedroom apartment in Los Angeles, California. The name of the company derives from the last names of the two producers, Omaha native Arlene Klasky and Hungarian-born animator Gábor Csupó. During The Tracey Ullman Show's days, Klasky-Csupo produced the animated Simpsons shorts, consisting of 48, before The Simpsons became a full-time network series in 1989. After those initial skits, Klasky-Csupo worked with 20th Century Fox Television and Matt Groening to produce the first 3 seasons of the animated sitcom until 1992, when Film Roman took over production. In 1990, the duo cut a production deal with Nickelodeon, and there they made Rugrats, one of the first three Nicktoons, and one of the network's successful animated series. After that, Klasky-Csupo made other successful animated shows such as The Wild Thornberrys, AAAHH!!! Real Monsters, As Told By Ginger, Duckman (for USA Network and Paramount Network Television, distribution currently held by CBS), and The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald (a promoted cartoon available exclusively at McDonald's restaurants from 1998 to early 2001), among others. The company also produced Spy vs. Spy cartoons for Cartoon Network's MAD. Many shows from the company were cancelled in 2004 and All Grown Up was put on hiatus in 2006 before officially being cancelled in 2008. The company went dormant for a while, but Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó officially revived the company in 2012 and announced that they are currently working on some "top secret projects". On July 16, 2018, Paramount Players CEO Brian Robbins revealed that the pair, along with co-creator Paul Germain have officially confirmed that a revival of Rugrats is in the works, which will include 26 new episodes, and a new live-action movie, which will feature the babies re-imagined in CGI form.

Nowadays, I don't think the 1998 logo is bad. The animation and the sound effects are pretty creative. However, it might catch people off-guard because of the unnerving Splaat's face. Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure it will give nostalgia for those who watched Rugrats and other Nickelodeon shows as kids.

The first and second one give me nostalgia. The 1998 logo, I associate with Rocket Power, All Grown Up, and As Told By Ginger. The first one is the one I associate with Rugrats, Wild Thornberrys, and Aaahh Real Monsters.
You know, as infamous as this company is for their logo, they definitely deserve a lot of credit for making smooth, expressive animation on shoestring budgets. Their early animation for The Simpsons borders on surrealism at times and it's incredible what they could pull off with relatively little money. Klasky Csupo was so tiny at that time they were operated out of a garage until the early 1990s.

AKA debuted on Wild Thornberrys pilot. Maybe an instance the Robot logo debuted here, but an error changed it back to the Graffiti logo with the Robot's music.

I remember myself getting REALLY close to the tv when I was little thinking it was the 1981 logo but nope it was the 1998 one. And let’s just say I some stuff went down. But now seeing all the logos make me blush of nostalgia!

Coming back to watch this in 2022 is something! The fact that Klasky Csupo has all these logos is a pleasure! I know people might not like Klasky Csupo because of Splaat, but to come back to let's say their first Logo, knowing it exists makes for a blast to the past! I do know Splaat is overused by TKC and others, but there's one logo I hate...
