Hi Joao, thank you. Indeed they now need seeds, for the tools, seeds, fertilizer, etc ... by default these should be in the resource storage building. Then if you want them to prioritize some over others, these can be placed directly in the barn. I did a recent video 'how do villagers work' update, which explains the process more in detail :). You are welcome to watch the Hamlet most definitely ! Cheers
Greetings Solutodka. I've been playing this game for the past week and was struggling on the farming aspect of this game. What an informative video on how best to manage this process. I laughed about the fertilizer part as I was wasting all that money spent. I see fertilizer and I see manure which can be turned into fertilizer. Does it matter which you buy? I'll have to check over pricing when I'm back in game. I could never connect two plots of field and I thought I was doing something wrong with the guideposts, now I know it was not me there will always be that patch between fields just need to make them larger for a much better aesthetic appeal))). If you make better tools does that help the field workers. Do you put these tools in the Resource Shed or in the actual Barn? Really good video you are on my watch list for sure. Keep up the great work.
Hi Zaporozh, I'm glad you enjoyed the video guide :). For the tools, by default you can place them in the resource storage building, but if you also place some in the barn, these will be used in priority. Thank you :). Cheers !
Hello, indeed :). I have prioritized first to do videos for players starting with the game, and i have now made an updated version of how to make money. I will make an updated version of this farming guide (I am currently doing some testing of some interesting behavior of the farmers !), and of the how villagers work.
I've checked the food merchant in Gostovia once in spring and now in summer and she has no seeds. I even went to Denica and the merchant there had no seeds. Asked Google and everyone says the same thing as this video but I'm not finding any.
Hi 1stpogo, since the release V 1.0 there has been an update, so now to find seeds you have several merchants on the map, including one in Gostovia, who sells all the seeds the game has to offer. on your compass at the top of the screen, this is the symbol of merchant which has a cereal logo with it. You can often find him in the barn during day time. By memory i think his name is Edwin but i would need to check. I will make a new version of this farming guide, but i have prioritized other guides first.
Thank you for the great guide! watching your others now too! Can you possibly do one on how to organise NPCs and where to put the resources they need? Ie will they take it out of the resource building/food building or their craft buildings smaller boxes?
Hi Crypto Beast :) ! I'm glad you find it great :), Thank you ! I was planning on doing one for the buildings I feel the NPCs are the best so far, but it definitely makes sense to add the storage system all together with it yes. I will need to test it better first, but what I think is each individual crafting building, deposits its harvest in its building chest, then the employee of the storage building is going to get it (but we don't see him walk to get it). Hi Jann Patrick, thank you :) ! As of now, if for example you would like to have two different types planted in a field one after the other over a year, you would need to manually do the change twice a year. In the future hopefully it will change. Anyway, for now the taxes do not consider the fields so you can have more fields, but each is less efficiently used (this is how i mitigate it for now, so i don't both if my carrot field for example is empty half of the year :)).

Hi Shelby, thank you for sharing your question. In my opinion, I would retain the berry bushes as it is convenient to have these within your city, when you need some berries for baking for example, if you have "nothing" to do for a while you can just harvest some berries. Also to be noted they can be considered as looking great for embellishing the city. Now you might have other berry bushes already, so this might become redundant. You can also take into account you can have a separate field, there is (at the moment) no major advantage to have a huge field but a little space saving. On my end i broke it down into several mid size fields and it works very well for me to manage the works of my field workers and the crops rotation.
Hi Daniel, for harvesting the carrots and other veggies you do not need a tool, just press 'E' when looking at it :). (as long as it is grown, for carrots in summer they are ready for harvest).

Hi Antonio, thank you ! Once you have attached your bag to your toolbelt, you need to pick a seed or fertilizer to be associated to it (the seeds and fertilizer need to be in your inventory - backpack-) , then you can drop the selected one on the field tile, from the bag. Either you have one bag for fertilizer and another bag for the seed you desire to plant; or you can have one single bag, then you first spread the fertilizer, till the soil, then you change from fertilizer to seeds in the bag.

I wish I could find some turtorials where they dont have everything build and unlocked. It spoil so much

Hi, I can't hide it, even after such a long part of my life living in English speaking country :). Some things cannot change, this is just nature. Many people appreciate it and find charming though :D ! But not everyone does haha...
Andy Kauffman is alive and well!
Tried, purchased, but it was mistake. The game looks great and it is interesting, but tooo slow for me. Building first shelter for 1 hour. Guys (developers), my time has some value and I will not vaste my life building something virtual.
Sorry to hear that, but indeed the game takes time. You can actually change the game settings to help you go faster to some extent, however to unlock new buildings etc ... you will need time in any cases :).
@@SolutOdka I hope game will be good for kids. The game looks very nice and if it was faster, it would be probably great for me too. Good luck!
