  • Really emotional, the 4th surgery of the year, to reverse the complications and living with Colostomy on Nov 2, 2022. Scared out of my mind and emotionally empty, feeling like I can't catch a break.

So happy to hear from you and see how you are doing. It is reassuring to hear you talk about the careful steps you’re taking introducing food into your system. Please continue to improve and get back to us in a few days if you feel like it. ❤

You are amazing. I had my reverse done in February. I can't seem to enjoy food anymore. Can you tell what kind of diet you were eating? Is it ok to eat rice? I'm at the point of giving up sometime, but your video encourages me to continue on this lonely road.

it took me a while to start eating normal food again. start slow and incrementally add. i found that when i couldn’t eat normally, it really affected my mental health. Takes time.

I call what I have is a gymnastics heart. I went to several doctors and had many tests and they don’t know what the issue is. I went in for emergency surgery and during surgery my heart went crazy then after a few days out of ICU I had issues with my heart and it took 2 hours to get me settled. That evening I said to the nurse see you tomorrow. She said yes if you are still here. You must know that I am a very comical guy, during my situation.

@@JoseRamirez-gs5uj I had a colostomy reversal 2 months ago. They did it via laparoscopy, so, just small incisions. I had wondered the same thing at first. - It is still annoying to have more scars so please ask your physicians for Clear details if this is an issue for you. It's nice to be rid of the bag, anyhow, and my bowel recovery has gone pretty well. (Constipated at first.)
