Great to see the Cupras getting some attention again, those who havent driven one dont realise how fun they are. Mine was one the last ones of the production line, 11yrs later at just 14k miles, with Stage 4 and AWD conversion, it's still a beast! Respect guys

+1 on the Toyota dealership in Macclesfield. Been there with a friend who had issues with his Auris. Staff are shockingly bad. Every excuse under the sun to try and fob him off.
think what you guys have proven is actually a really take away. How important it is to take care of your cars, how much it costs to maintain a car properly to avoid bills like this. Also how important it is to take time buying second hand cars.
Loving the Cupra / RS and Focus ST content. Just shows how you can mod these and make them absolute weapons. I've always preferred the Cupra over the GTI. Just looks better and not as common (probably brand snobbery 😂)

if you put a front Diff in this, it will be 100% better, the difference in a 270bhp car i did it in, was night and day. I would love to see the difference between stock diff and a wavetrack or a quaife diff

Same spec engine and turbo as my mk5 golf but i have rs3 injectors, mine just did 450bhp 450 torque at rtech, puts the power down no problem when dry ( does have a quaife lsd though )

Great video lads, thus build has come such a long way! I can share the journey with our mk5 Golf GTI S3 build after 2 engine fails it is now shy of 400bhp so far costing £7k! Seems like we done well, definitely need to compare these!
@EVILGT Had the S3 engine fully serviced timing belt and timing chain, also done balance shaft delete, airtec intercooler, VIS HPFP just to name some mods and full check and remap to stage 2+ from r tech made 374bhp on stock KO4 Turbo. So much fun, good tyres is a must!

Bloody hell didn't realise these were FWD until it was on the old Awesome dyno, how's the torque steer with 400bhp haha. FWD is absolutely fun, I don't think anyone has had a decent FWD car if they disagree.

TTRS LPFP is all it needs for another 40bhp. Then injectors become the limit. Next owner should be very happy!
