Now that i downloaded the app, the alternetives that comes up 0:38 in the video, pops up and I dont understand because you get this Wavelink app and it just confuses me.
Did you download NDI Tools? Did you route the SFX with an OUTPUT VST, and the MIC VST needs to be at the BOTTOM of the LIST as in INPUT, and you have to select your SFX Source.
You can rename it in your SFX, and then Identify it in your Mic, but if you're only doing it for just 1 channel, then it should be the only one listed to select.
@@iLadyVic thank you so much for the fast reply. So I did in fact do that , I renamed it SFX but it is still not working for me. I see the Audio levels rise in the SFX tab in wavelink but it’s still not going into discord. I followed your video step by step and still nothing 😓
@@iLadyVic your video is literally the only one I have found that demonstrates exactly how I want it to work but for some reason is not working on my end.
@@iLadyVic yup. I did Everything step for step just like you did in the video. Would it be possible to hop in a discord tomorrow or any day you have time and help me figure it out?
Downloaded and installed NDI, but when selecting NDI bridge it does not do an install. Rather it starts a broadcast to invite guests. Tried messing with that a bit but could not get any further. I was thinking maybe the VDI tool already installed a audio driver, but the only new virtual audio sources are VDI webcam one through 4. Is there a video I could watch that prefaces this and can give me a bit more in depth on the NDI Bridge install? Pardon, a bit of a StreamDeck new user user.
Just got the streamdeck, and it seems that now there is a checkbox"Reroute to MicrophoneFX" when you click on dropdown arrow beside SFX channel (may be it'll say something like that, because i have wavelink in other language)
Also, if you’re routing the sound from the sfx output, to the mic fx, does that mean it plays twice to your stream mix? Once through the sfx and once through the mic fx? Or since the audio is being routed, does it only play in one place? To me it seems like the sound effects are going to be playing through 2 sources at the same time into your stream mix.
This video is just for Discord use, doing both streaming, and discord, I’d suggest muting your sfx in stream, as it will play through your mic. I hope this helps. It took me a few mins to tinker with things.
I assume this only works fully with a Wave Mic? I have a GoXLR and the Wave Link software with Stream Deck Plus. Also I want to use the nvidia noise cancelling and that's where my problems begin as most of the sounds would get filtered by the ai.
the nvidia noise cancelling is a whole can of issues. I use the elgato vst for noise removal, and renegate. Streamdeck Plus should work with wavelink. As for GoXLR, I do not have one, so I wouldn't know on that one.
thanks for the video. tried your tutorial, but didnt work properly. I can create a ndi output and a ndi input on the channels i want. Unfortunately nothing happens at the input channel/device. Do I have to configure something in the NDI tool to work correctly?
Works with my streak deck + and third party microphone. Thanks for the help!
Yes! It’s the same as any streamdeck, but with a few extras!

I did everything but the last part where you select SFX under input , mine shows desktop followed by a random number. Any idea what i should do?

Hm… I’ll tinker with this soon. Though I hear NDI can cause a delay, and then others state otherwise. Is this for a Dual PC?

New Video is out! ruclips.net/video/pxOnwHHZKdY/видео.html
When you do this, which slider controls the volume level of the sound going into discord? Is it the sfx stream or monitor slider?
When you’re outputting it to your mic, it should mimic the mic vol.

if it mutes the output into the mic, I’ll have to figure something else out. It didn’t for me, but let me know.
So, I’ll be working on a new video that covers a bit. It’s just been on the back burner, as I’ve been more focused on a PC build.
That is really helpful thank you :)
Thanks! Glad it helped!

NDI should be at the bottom of your VST list, however a new video is due for 2013 with some new changes.
or just use the sounddeck addon
It depends on preference.
@@iLadyVic how so? Wouldn't the sound deck addon make it easier, is there one that's technically higher quality or something?
I’ll research it, but it really depends on the quality of the sound clip if you’re an audiophile.
Do i need a elgato mic?
Not really, this can be done with voicemeeter too.
@@iLadyVic ye i know but this looks easyier
It really is, with the elgato ecosystem. They designed the software to be friendly. :)
