I have successfully installed the Wave Link software on an M1 Mac, but I'm having difficulty setting it up. I want to mix music from the Apple Music program or a browser or a local .mp3 file with my singing through a Wave 3 microphone and have that combined audio as my audio stream to a Zoom meeting. While I'm singing, I'd like to listen to the music to which I'm singing through headphones. It is not clear how I can make the Apple Music program or a browser or a local .mp3 file be the input to a Wave Link channel on a Mac. An explanation of how to do that on a Mac would be very helpful. A video showing how to that on a Mac would be even better. Thanks.
I wish I could, but all Mac content has been shelved. I’ll resume Mac OS content. when Apple allows Mac OS installable on any PC, vs a set settings on Mac device.
How did you do ? I bought -Wave XLR- with the microphone of the same brand, I am on MacOs 14 Sonoma M1, I downloaded the Mac version of Wave Link 1.10.1 software, I have a problem I cannot add new audio input, I get the same error message every time "Wave Link Audio Engine is not correctly installed"... I tried everything, downloaded again, put everything back in place... it doesn't work 😕
I noticed that you have safari and discord added, when i add discord and safari to my wave link and then play audio through them there is no audio levels shown within wave link and therefore they aren't picked up by the outputs, have you ever experienced this issue?

Hello! I have a serious dubt. I've been trying for some time in mac to capture the Mozzilla Firefox audio onto the Wavelink but I doesen't detect anything. Any ideas?
So, my issue is on the wavelink program, the output to stream isn't showing anything. I can see the graph moving when I talk, hear it in my headphones, but it's showing nothing for the stream
I have a question regarding Wave Link. I have been having the hardest time finding software to allow me to do app specific audio on macOS and this seems like a great option. Right now I just have one audio source for desktop audio which outputs everything to twitch. I wanted to setup an audio track specifically for my vods. The problem I have is my mic is a blue Yeti X and I heard Wave Link only works if you have Wave hardware. Will this work without any Wave hardware? If I need Wave hardware can I just buy the Wave xlr or do I need to have a wave mic as well? iS there a better option to get app specific audio on macOS?
The Workaround is to use VB Cable. It works for this kind of games. You can record VB Cable as it's on Source in Wave Link.
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing!

How many inputs do you have already routed?
Thanks for the video! Makes it very clear ! Does it work also great on Mac with the M1/M2 chip?
Wave link Should!

Honestly, I haven’t used a mac in about 2 years. I would have to get a new one to make Mac content. At the time I made this video, I had no issues.
you the only person I seen doing this on Mac thank u
I haven’t touched Mac OS content in a long while, but I may start again soon.

How many inputs did you add? I think it only allows 9.
@@iLadyVic Just the mic, i can’t add anything else ! ☹️
How are you adding it? Are you doing it when the app is open?

Maybe check with the company’s office support. They might see what’s causing the error.

I don't use that browser, but it should ideally work.

i've seen this happen to others. I suggest uninstalling, reboot, reinstalling.
@@iLadyVic I was afraid of that reply. reinstalled 3 times already. I suspect its an apple silica issue
I'm actually going to be doing more Mac OS videos soon. Hopefully, I can touch up on this. see if I can replicate, and find a solution.
So I actually did a quick setup on my recent video, and no issues at with wave link and mac os.
@@iLadyVic maybe I'll check again. I got the Mic to work as just usb source, but no wavlink
Hola! tengo una duda. En mac intento capturar el audio de Mozilla y no me deja. Simplemente no me detecta el audio. ¿Alguien puede ayudar?

No it wont work without a Wave 1: or Wave3 3: or Wave XLR. However the alternative is voicemeter banana.
Can you use a goXLR on bootcamp?
I am sure you can!
I’ll double check, and make sure. I think yes, because it’s running Windows, but Apple does configure certain things.
