- 'Be My Friend' by Large Mirage
I've seen the filth this land belongs to
I've seen the world an anarchist would run
I've seen the treasure you would keep unsold
I've seen the worth this ancient rock could hold
And I know that if you need me
You would never be my friend
I've seen the travesty of kids who
I've seen parade the street with no clothes or food
I've seen the work the average man can do
I've seen the life of those who follow the rules
And I know that if you need me
You would never be my friend
And I know that if you need me
You would never be my friend
And I know that if you need me
You would never be my friend
And I know that if you need me
You would never be my friend
And I know that if you need me
You would never be my friend
You would never be my friend
You would never be my friend
You would never be my friend
You would never be my friend

Large Mirage is a fresh rock group from Sydney, Australia, who are making waves in the local rock scene with their unique vintage sound and image, their virtuosic musicianship, memorable repertoire, and energetic live act. In 2023 they released their debut EP 'A Side To Blame', and toured internationally for the first time, performing in Germany and the UK to packed audiences. 'Be My Friend' is the B-Side of the band's latest single 'Be My Guide/Be My Friend'. Composed, recorded, and mixed entirely by members of the group, the double-sided single is another independent achievement from Large Mirage!

It’s “a friend in need is a friend indeed!” Because our friends are still are friends even if they need a little help sometimes. Sorry - first time hearing this deciding what I think and commenting too fast due to excessive caffeine consumption
Absolutely! Listen again and tell us what you think 💛

great music is back in 2024 -FINALLY -thank you it lifts the spirit from the homogeny which pervades the current auditory landscape
Sure do wish I had a friend
Awesome 👍.
Thank you so much! ✌
I'm a French "fuddy duddy" who'll be 67 in few weeks... and feel as if I could ear a wonderful song of the 60's / early 70's, than unfortunately I would have completely missed when I was still a teenager.
I was even stunned when I heard the short solo with its typical Emerson (Lake & Palmer) sound!
I don't know if you grew up in a hippie community, or if opiate seeds, carried by the wind, accidentally fell on a planter on your balcony?
(If I tease you, it’s because I love you! 😍)
Know that I discovered you thanks to your advertising campaign on FB (so it works), and that I hasten, not only to broaden my listening to all of your creations, but above all to massively share "Be my friend " around me, hoping that many others will do the same!
Your new fan,
Dan 💙💙💙
Thanks Dan! No hippie upbringings here, we all just grew up loving music ✌️
Definitely sounds like the 60s ❤
Hope to see you play in New York one day!
