When they build something that could take the bikes into the next millennia they shun them. The big bore, air cooled platform is dead and only kept alive by some amazing engineering at HD. The VROD should have been the basis of a Touring line to rival the Gold Wing but it never got the chance.

How are they the world's leading motorcycle manufacturer? Honda sells millions of bikes world wide every year while Harley literally shipped less than 195,000 units in 2021.....
@@RandyNachoManSandwich Not a chance in hell people in Asia would recognize Harley over any of the major Japanese brands. Harley is virtually non-existent over there and will become less so as the brand continues its slow death.
Don’t own 02 Harley sporster custom no rubber engine you hands will go to sleep if I have one beer seems to help have to put rubber washers in triple tree then fill with clear tubing with silicone then cap both sides reduce vibration by 50 percent guess Harley did not give this one any love have bike the same yr not being made any more 02 victory v92 no vibration at all guess I own a Harley have lots of garage art rims tanks only missing frame and engine

With all the VRODs in this list I was thinking it was actually a list of H-D's sales flops.
I like the Vrod , much of the future of Harley is based on the vrod engine. You should ride one, they are fun...
