The famous physicist, Richard P. Feynman was once asked to give a lecture at Pasadena City College, PCC. Feynman accepted, under one condition: that he would not have to sign more than 13 signatures. The host had at first thought this was funny but, as usual, the improvisational genius that was Feynman had the last laugh!
Enjoy this little gem of comedy, straight from the man himself from the audio archives dedicated to him. Приколы
Honestly and truly the best example that one can be joyful and friendly while wielding the greatest mind and hearth off all, Richard IS
Before I go to give an important presentation, I often listen to a recording of one of Feynman’s recorded performances. It helps a lot.
Thank you for posting more on my favorite person. Richard Feynman 🤩
Feynman: its ok i dont want the money
Board: TAKE DA MONEY!
I LOVE it! Leave it to Feynman to make logical pretzels out of a procedure.
I listen with a distinct sense of pleasant expectation: I know I'll enjoy the rest of the sentence, and then the next one, and the next, till the end.
That's it exactly, his style of anecdotal comedy, which is very real and pure, is told with the same sort of entertaining expectation as the comedian George Burns or Lenny Bruce. Feynman had a very distinct style and considering that he was largely a teacher of very high-end graduate level physics material this was quite unique for him to be that way and not at all stuffy about communicating everyday things.
How to solve the problem: offer him orange juice.
He sounds so natural
That man: Are you joking Mr feynman😅 ahh ig book gots it's title from this. 🤣🤣🤣
He could have given him cash.
Imagine the other blokes story
So smart he didn t realize that all inflationary models make the same prediction that a proton 's average life is 10 to the 33 years.but this prediction has been disproven hundreds of times .protons are stable none seems to realize that but the expanding universe has failed
This isn't funny at all. Stupid premise, random outcome, pretentious attitude
Lol after being under the governments thumb for so many years and jumping through so many pointless hoops during his time helping to create the first nuclear bomb, I am sure from his perspective and loathing of pointless administration, he felt like he was fighting the good fight. The fact that college costs have now ballooned to infinity to pay for pointless administrative positions is good evidence we live in a society where not enough people question formality and dehumanizing procedure.
As someone who works in the world of medicine in the US and witnesses from day to day how agonizing healthcare is because of insurance prior autos and pointless gov checkbox metrics, I can assure you we need more people like Feynman or else we risk a greater harm of dehumanization by a kafkaeqsue procedural culture
Oh, shut up
Did you take you antidepressant this morning ?
