I was more hyped for this Batman than I think I have for any Batman before. And it did not disappoint!! This is easily, hands down, my favorite Batman out of my entire collection! It's so good!
Is the blue more to purple blue? Or is is that blue from original batmans?
This was my first intro figure to Mezco and man Ive been hooked since!

They certainly could have done the suit better. That's why I have purchased two different new Superman suits from Tony Mei.

You know What'd be cool for the body suit?, If it were Black with the Grey Armor on-top to make it really stand out

I have this batman and the original sovereign knight release and this might be hands down my all time favorite batman figure its perfect! Who else is stoked for the supreme knight batman by mezco!?!?

I love this figure. Got mine on Saturday but haven't had time to mess around with it, but I did spend trying like 30 minutes to get 2 or nice pictures without switching anything out and just having the cape in different positions. Also, this is like Batman Inc meets the classic 70's/80's look.
I may need to try and do a black and grey of this one because that would be a great representation of that era.
Wow that Bruce Wayne looks A LOT like Ben Affleck! Im not a fan of Blue and Gray in the modern era in comics or animation, but I do love it on certain figures and collectibles, and it works great here.
The ankle articulation on this figure is actually a little bit better than I originally thought. I found out because the first one I received had two left foot. Since I ordered mine from Amazon, I got the replacement before having to ship back the original. The replacement had a screwed up suit, so I tried removing its right foot to do a swap with the original one I received with the two left foot. Luckily it wasn't too difficult to remove the foot with some hot water, so I was able to do the foot swap. The ankle joint has a ball joint going up into the leg, and a peg going into the foot at not quite 90 degrees. In theory the peg going into the foot should allow plenty of ankle rocker, but the sculpt in that area restricts it quite a bit, resulting in the lack of articulation. Now that I understand where the joints are, I can turn the foot using the ball joint while rocking it on the peg going into the foot. I found that I was able to get more range in the ankles that way.
It's a great figure and I love it, even if it took going through two figures for me to end up with one good one.

I almost bought the ascending knight version because I prefer the blue Batman costume, but I saw this was on preorder. And I was like woahhhh need to wait this out instead haha. Glad I did. Great review!

Yessir! Tried it myself and they swap out no problem. I think the blue tones of the PX Ascending and PX Sovereign are a bit different though.
Kinda reminds me of his Batman Incorporated suit, just gray and blue.

I’d pick this up if I knew that leaving it in a dynamic stance wouldn’t damage the fabric. So due to my lack of knowledge with figures like this, that’s why I’m hesitant. I’m holding off for the Essentials grey and blue and am hoping we get a classic type Batman from Mafex as well
Mafex does have the Jim Lee and the Frank Miller versions coming and they are going to be epic! Those and the NECA Batman from the NYCC two pack are my most anticipated Batman figures of all time.
I like what you did with your ascending Batman, he looked great! How do you go about swapping parts like gauntlets and boots on the mezco figures?

I have an unfortunate issue. I have a Batman Missions Total Armor Batman, but I'm missing one of the shoulder pieces. I could've sworn it was in the package, but I just don't know where it is or went. How can I get a replacement without buying a whole new figure? How would I go about something like that? Brad the DC Universe Geek must know. 🤔
If you contact Mattel Customer Service they should be able to mail you a replacement part or a new figure.

that batman fig is pretty cool...best one that mezco has done so far....but that custom supes at the end of the review stole the show....it would be really cool if you could showcase your superman customs more
Damn. I'm disappointed by the indigo, violet blue color. Different from the prototype I feel. Still an awesome figure.

So far this one is the best, dont know why he looks thinner cause technically black slims you down??? tbh i would do some swaps between the 2 of them, cause i dont like the blue
If I can save up for a second Sovereign Knight I plan on doing some swaps.

Hi Brad, I have question on this figure. Does the suit discolor/deteriorate real bad over time like the issue on the original Sov Knight release? I'm kinda worried about that and how to take care of it just in case the time comes... My PX Sov Knight is currently in transit to me, and I'd like to know if it has such issue.

I've been collecting for years. My youtube funds offset the cost of making these videos. I still never really come out on top but it definitely helps.
How durable would u say this figure and the cat woman figure are brad?
I posed these are around and they stayed nice and tight. The suit it still remains to be seen.
