If this doesn't work for you, like it didn't for me, this was the fix for me: it needs to be plugged into a PC with USB (C). A regular socket or car-charger doesn't do the trick. I finally got mine to factory reset after trying 20 videos!

So, I have my dead uncle's S20 Ultra and no one knew his password for his phone. I did the factory reset in the video here. However, when it reboots and is on the very first home screen, I press start and then it has me accept the terms and conditions. Then, I login into my wifi. THEN - SPRINT says registering your device all of a sudden. and then it says getting your phone ready. and then finally, It asks for my uncle's password... like WHY?! I thought I factory reset it! How do i bypass this completely??
