One of the best looking dirtbike models ever made if you ask me. One of these Huskys were atop the list of bikes i wished i had when i was young. Full rebuild and used in a enduro is what i wish you do with it.

Every one wanted one until they got one as they were gits to start ... so the fact you got it going shows its a good un... nice one, new suspension powder coat frame some head work your good to go ..some plastics too and a bash plate

Funny shit mate when I was 14 I got brand new 1987 husky 510. It had left side kickstarter and compression release on it. The hardest bike I ever started. When I got I had to take back to dealer to show me how to start the dam thing. Love that husky!!! Love shit talking you do to tom. And who was the camera man mate? I have idea but you tell me Billy thanks mate for all videos.

I'm loving you Vlogs. The old Husky is really cool. Just resort it to original but not so nice that you are afraid to ride it. Then do some enduro test were you compare it to your modern bikes, if Husky will let you. Don't get rid of the Ohlin suspension just get someone to go over it, it is good stuff. I had a 81 430XC what a beautiful bike that was.

I'd restore it for you if I lived nearer. It's my hobby to confuse people with really great looking, older bikes that rip just as hard as their expensive brand new machines!
All the people writing stuff about 95% rider and so on, while that is absolutely true, this is not a bad bike at all. It might not have received a lot of love, but those bikes were very successful in the day and that bike once was a top dollar machine.
I think this mostly goes to show how little change there has been in dirtbikes. If you take that bike a modern 450 and something from the 70s you'd see that we somewhat found the formula in the 90s

Not many times that lve seen an 96 610 left kicker start so easily!!! Well done...got to say, you abused f@#k out of it out the box and it didn't fall apart!!
You gotta do a full restoration, there isn't many of those right hand drive four strokes around any more, you had no problem with the kick start on the left, I remember seeing guys have to get off the bike and kick using their right leg because they couldn't adapt to it being on the left, there's got to be someone at Husky that can help finding parts for it, and a local enduro race would be the icing on the cake.
